I'm joining DMS-IITD this year and I've 6 years of work-ex(Mech) in Auto industry.

Classes starts by end July & I want to do some courses bef July. I'm plannin for

Sixsigma BB & PMP certifications.Will they hv any +ve effect on my final placemnts?

u have created a very strong base for your MBA, with 6 years of work ex and Sixsigma BB & PMP certifications I wont be wrong in predicting very good lateral placement offers for you.

This coupled with the summer training u will undergo will definately boost up your placement chances.

My personal suggestion is instead of venturing into something new before you join the Bschool it would be better if you could strengthen your fundamentals. i mean instead of waiting for the classes, for foundation courses. U can prepare urself well before the classes begin
