It would b gr8 if we could clarity in terms of "attire" which is a component in the fee structure.

In terms of software, what is it that is being provided by the institute ?

The college provides a suit which is supposed 2 be worn by students on all official occasions right from events to placements. Thats the attire mentioned in the fee structure.

Softwares provided by colleges are SPSS types which will help u guys to do complex statistical operations in different projects and in ur empirical study of course!

As already mentioned by sum1 on forum the new dates are as follows....

Last date for sending bank loan docs ( for INDIAN BANK ) - 25th March
Last date for making Final payment - 10th April

Mails will be reaching if not already reached to u ppl. Same will be updated on website today.These dates are final and sacrosanct, in no case these will be extended any further. Hence no requests about the same will be entertained.

I hope with new dates u puys now have a enough time to make an informed decision.
Also once more let me mention that everybody who is making an online payment, kindly send all details along with the screen shot to admission office.

Tomorrow is the last date for selected candidates to pay 50 k and hence confirm. After that wait listed candidates status will become clear.As mentioned on the website , Wait listed candidates should be prepared to make a fast decision as they will have less time on their hand.

I hope the process is reasonably clear to ppl here...

My name is Ranjit Shankar and I had visited Great Lakes yesterday to make the fee payment of 50K......i spoke to this person by the name Bharat....can somebody point out to me as to how we can avail accomodation?.....can i get in touch with the seniors for the same?...Do you guys have an orkut link for the new batch?.....thanks in advance.....

I am posting my reply of a previous query on the same issue. As of yet we have nt created an orkut link, bt there is already one community created here by puys. Go thrgh the previous posts here and u shall find it......

We are preparing a list of all accommodations where our current batch mates are putting up .....most which are around college only so no need 2 bother about dist. from college etc. The down payment shall be decided by landlords and may vary from flat 2 flat. In our batch it varied from 30k- 1lakh depending upon no of rooms, furnishing etc. Dnt worry as down payment gets divided among no roomies which vary from 4-6. Monthly it comes to 3-4k individually on flat rest depends on hw u wanna spend ur time

Giving list frm now wont help as it makes sense fr u ppl 2 have a look at flats. The other way cld be u can approach my batch mates in JAYCEES group at Orkut and get the details frm them......

We will be vacating our flats arnd 1st may........so arnd a week or so u need 2 put up at some near guest house or rooms.

Hi unkindmonk, thanks for taking out the time to provide so much info. And congrats on ur placement. Can you tell me what the college timings usually are like? Are all sundays working? Also, will the timings be any different the 1st one week when we will be staying away from the coll campus? Is the college going to send us any info regarding the accomodation arrangements available or do we look it up ourselves?

There is no definite timings of college it varies from early morning 2 late in night. As for sundays off, conisder urself lucky if u get one in first 6 months ;-)
First week is gonna be a quite an exp fr u guys...........trust me u wanna experience it rather then knw abt it before hand!
We students are preparing a list of accomodations, whenever it gets completed we will circulate it among u guys........
