So INDIA WON!!!!!!!..................n trst my guys what we didnt do to ensure that we Great Lakers can watch that historic match.

We got a guest lecture postponed and rescheduled our Chinese class!!! Now trst me that's a big deal in Great Lakes as admin is very particular abt schedules.

We might just get royally screwed and overloaded in days to come but what the heck........workload is the norm of life here and anyways India dont win worldcup everday!!!

btw guys v are goin to celebrate India's victory(again i.e ) by cutting a cake in our canteen!!!Talk abt some celebration guys...............

So its raining on field and off it too. We guys are loaded with deadlines this weekend and in the words of a famous prof. of our institute are trying to wriggle out of this situation!

Guys emperical studies is now an integeral part of Life at Great Lakes and all the aspirants stay prepared for heavy duty research once they become a Great laker. The part that rubs in pretty badly is that Emperical studies only became mandatory this year which means none of our seniors had to break their heads in doin Literature review, deciding on methodlogy and things of that nature...

Without wastn any further time as deadline is looming dangerously close i signoff with the promise of keeping u guys posted!

Ok me dear puys...........here is the latest from GL campus

Empirical study has been finally nailed and till next deadline Greatlakers can heave a sigh of relief as far as research is concerne.

However if that gives u ppl an impression that thngs for sum time things are going to stay low than u cldnt have been more wrong

Come 5th and we will have our Philosophy Final exam along with the final Chinese /Mandarin exam. All in all two major subjects of first four terms is lined up after 3 days

Hopefully we will survive the heat and would put up a decent show on 5th.......Till then puys chill out n have fun...

So 5th has come to an end and so our Philosophy and Manadarin courses with today's exam.....

It was supposed 2 an exciting day but the plethora of assignmts and schedules of other exams have been a spoilt sport!:(

Right from 2mrw till 12 th v have either big assignmts 2 submit or exams............

Add one more sunday to the numerous sundays of no fun, no rest and no eatng out!!!:huh:

However i wld like 2 give a special adeiu 2 our philosophy course ( hope i clear the paper!)

Irrespective of hw tgh it was 2 go thrgh all those heavy duty pre readings and handling those mind numbling exams........we can today proudly claim tht v have an idea (if nt very clearly ) what Vedas, Upanshidas and Bhagwat Gita talks abt.....

The jury is still out on hw much v will be able 2 apply this knowledege in our managerial responsibilties bt v r indeed more aware of our ancient civilization and unexpectadly v r glad n proud abt it........Truly speakn this is one of the many unique gifts which Great Lakes has given us and hopefully this awareness abt old scriptures will help us in future one way or other.
As far Chinese is concerned.......it was great fun!

My study grp members are waitin so tht we can conquer another mountain of assignment and i better get movng..........Till next time puys.....cheers and

Philosophy grades are out !!!.............yeah we gave that paper yeaterday n today v got our grades......

Trust our Philosophy prof 2 be that efficient.........but the better news is that i got an A grade!

Some buddies of mine have got A+ n trst me thats a big deal while sum got F too:(!

Most of the junts is glad that they manage 2 clear the paper......Trst me puys philosophy results always bring mixed bag of emotions 2 campus n after philisophy results junta goes out or booze to their heart's content........I am sure that 2mrw's submission wont be able 2 deter such enthusiats even 2day.......

All said and done........Philosophy course is a unique course and personally i am glad that i went through it.....

Yipeeeeeee......India Won!

Well this is the only moment of excitement that this day has blessed us with. In the morning O.B exam nailed us .......inspite of our best preprations to nail it! Now this time around we created a history in a special kind of prepration but i will surly give details a ditch ri8 nw!

After that deadline of Busniss communcatn was dangeroulsy hanging on me........i submitted it late by 10mins........lets c what happens nw........
and now we have another paper line up 2mrw mrng:crazyeye:.........

Boy........going crazy here........but still need 2 carry on........OMG! .....this reminds me tht i even have a submsiion to make 2mrw........nd its time 2 get strted......

Man these exams at 8 AM in the morning are driving people crazy here. After juggling with assignments, presentations and exams we at GreatLakes seem to have perfected the Just In Time concept. Btw we have a Course coordinator for each subject, some1 from student, who helps the faculty conduct classes, take attendance n all. theunkindmonk happened to be the CoCo for BC. M sure our mam would be utterly disaapointed by Mr. CoCo's late submission. :satisfie: Dude m willing to take some JIT sessions for u, if u wish.

With people heading for internship this weekend, the mood is upbeat at GreatLakes. We have people goin to Nokia, DELL, MS, ITC, Reliance etc to name a few. Infact with each passing day, the profile offered to the interns by new companies tend to be getting better. If these are some signs regarding the industry's perception of GreatLakers, man I cant wait for the placement season in Feb.

Well Mr Nonconformist had the luxury of submiting it JIT for resns which have more 2 do with his grp guys being cooperative and dot on time rather that any special attributes of himself .......

Hwever i humbly admit my falliability n i wld try 2 be JIT in next assignement by taking all material help frm Mr Non conformist's group.......i learn my lessons fast u c!

I am feeling like a complete loser and nw i think instead of choosing electives yesterday( wasted 2 hrs on tht) i cld have studied

Well these r few luxuries in MBA and one of the biggest amngst them is tht when u screw u papers u tell ur pals tht it doesnt matter as gardes wont play such a big role in placement hwever the other side of the story is that u prove urself a pucca moron in your inability to manage decent grades:satisfie:

We have anther submission lined up i couple of hrs and even 2mrw with a paper on 12th........Life goes on along with exams at Great Lakes:robot:!!
