Hey pradeep
I just read ur post on the tie ups of GLIM with other colleges.
Well the info that I have is that as of now the MBA program is based on the Yale program structure but as such we will not get a certificate for this. Also there is a Phd research centre which has a tie up with Yale.

I gave the GET and GD at Chennai on 4 th feb..
can u throw some light on as to when they will tell us the results...
what is the procedure now???
do they issue a list and then keep some ppl in the waiting??

boss thts a diffivult questnf for seniors to answer i guess.

i gave the gdpi in dec.(thy didnt give me a formall gdpi call -calld thm and came to know im supposed to attend it).
at the inerview this guy had a fight with some lpg service provider and my pi was screwed up.waited for 1 month for results.calld thn-am on some kinda on hold list...no formall mail/letter till now.very dissapointed nt coz i didnt get through-bt the way thy treated me.absolutely no procedure of communication.see sp jain dubai.how good thy are.thy send u a offer/reject lettr....how much does it cost them to atleast send a mail???

seniors i know i sound like sour grapes-bt its nt abt admissions.its abt right/wrongs.when i have paid application fees cant thy inform me abt gdpi attendence?and whn i have given the gdpi cant thy communicate me the results??

we aspirants are like worms....we have no value or identity in hands of mba institutes.its nt abt glim-most of the instittes are like this.we are always taken for for granted.

Although i empathize with choc_guy i still have my few cents...
If you have noticed the website carefully, it talks about a decision date which is when the results are officially announced. Getting back to the point on not informing someone that he/she has been rejected and how wonderfully well some other institute does it: The process of admission is simply different. People who have not been rejected cannot be told they are rejected, unless ofcourse you think otherwise. The status of admission is dynamic and hence it does not make sense to update a candidate everyday on the status, guess one would also appreciate its a pointless exercise. Given this background i don't see why a candidate should get vexed about it all. Hope avi_15's question was answered in the first couple of lines!
A piece of advice for people who are yet to take up their admission rounds- get an idea of the post interview process as soon as your interview is over! I know at this juncture everyone is anxious about getting somewhere, but a future Manager's test lies in how well we handle these situations.

okie so applying to an institute means assuming u are calld for the gdpi?gr8!!!!

abt nt informing coz u r on hold n its dynamic-id say gr8 once again-so u dont even say u are on hold and well get back to u?

see these are just weak arguments.this way improvements cant be done.

u can argue-bt thts wasnt my point.i dont wish to do so.its nt my job.as current students u should be concerned abt ur institute.mera kya hai.

I would suggest, you put your grievance to the right channel. Your feedback will be certainly taken as constructive. Possibly, writing to the admission mail-ids given in the admission brochure or the institute website will be the right things. Wish you all the very best.
