cud u tell me hw did u get into GLAKES?, thru CAT or GMAT nd wat was ur percentile or score?nd is the full time MBA prog. at GLAKES residential?nd when r u moving to a permanent campus?....thx

This is Vijai, Prashanth's class mate at Great Lakes. We take into consideration CAT and GMAT scores. We also have our own exam, entrance examination on the lines of GMAT.

The program is full time and we do not have a hostel as now. Many of our students have taken accomodation near the college. The new campus will be ready in another 15 to 18 months.

CAT / GET are not used for elimination. There are no cut off percentiles.

2. Are GET,GD,PI rounds each an elimination Rounds OR Composite Score of All rounds are taken for deciding on
Finall Admissions
These are not used for elimination. Final selection is beased on overall performance

3. What is the total cost of application Procedure:
a. If one wishes to give CAT Score

For both, it is Rs.900/-.

4. Where all do we have GET Exam Centers.
There are no exclusive exam centers. You may give GET when you appear for interview. The inteview dates are given below.

as the admission is in two cycles-if one applies for the first cycle thn whts the cutoff date for acceptance of admission offer?IIM results will be out by jan end.so will GLIM give us time till thn for the same??????it would be difficult for students to commit bfre the results of other institutes are out...

n if u suggest applying in the second round-wouldnt the competition be tougher at tht point.....

Hi Abhi,

Sorry for the late reply. The first round results will be out by December end. 10 days are given for the candidates to give their consent and pay a deposit of Rs.10000. Then one month is given for them to pay the fee. So the people who get selected in the first round will be paying the fees by January end.

The number of applicants for the second phase will defn. be high. However, we expect the same for the first phase as well. So, you should make the call.
