Hi all,
I am planning to some Indian and International schools this cycle with my gmat scores. Although most of the international schools offer a general mba but they offer electives at one point of time. By then you need to be sure of which way you want to go. There has been some good guidance regarding marketing, finance, it and systems fields in this thread. I have some specific questions -
1) Considering you have nil experience in the field of finance and sales, would it be recommended to go in for a specialisation in marketing or finance? i.e. ppl having prior experience in the concerned field would be preferred when it comes to jobs?

2) I have heard an seen in some places of a specialisation called strategy/consulting. Can somebody pls throw some light on what this field is about and what are the prospects?

3) As for entrepreneurship course, how much helpful would it be for people who have ideas but haven't started any ventures when compared to people who already have a business?

Looking forward to some helpful replies.
Thanks,
Amit.
