Apart from this, 76 students are going on exchange this time around. And someone asked about Fuqua ? Yes, we have a exchange agreement with Fuqua. One person is going there frm IIMB this year.

One of us is going to Duke this year.

About the prg being reciprocal i dont know the name of their student, if any, who had come this year ( most of them visited us last term)...but we have a lady from GSB Chicago this term on campus.

Exchange students coming to India is obviously about the Indian experience than any IIM name. If India is the flavour of the year they come from everywhere..else some schools dont show any participation

Nonetheless we do go everywhere every year!

Hey congrats guys! And also to the other PG junta! So what exactly is the criterion? and how is the process like? And I presume the candidate has to bear the full cost? is the process same in every B school?

I can tell you about the process here in IIMB. We have to apply for exchange with a SOP. Interviews are held of all the people who apply. People are then ranked on the basis of SOP/Interview/CG. Then counselling happens where you choose your university on the basis of your rank, as in Rank 1 gets to choose first, then rank 2, and so on.
Regarding the cost, it has to be borne mostly by student himself, although there are some part schols offered by IIMB. Some countries also give out schols for people coming on exchange.
I think process is roughly the same across campuses, cant say for sure though.

IIMC's process is also same as IIMB (guess it would be the same case everywhere).

I think there are about 8-10 full schols from the foreign univs and then there are some univs giving part schol as well . Without schol it costs you about $1500 - $3000 depending on your location (for the entire duration i.e)

Loans are also available from ICICI (I think!).
