The theme of the National Systems Summit 2004 is IT in Industry Verticals. We aim to bring forward the latest developments in information technology, their implications for business and the ways in which businesses can leverage these technologies to achieve competitiveness.

One presents a problem that existed in his company or industry; the other presents a possible solution to this problem, leveraging IT. Speakers may also present both the problem and faced (by a client) and the IT solution deployed.

The "Problem - Solution" approach:

We have adopted a unique, "problem - solution" approach. The intention is to make this event more interactive, involving the student and research communities along with End-users and IT professionals.

A 'Speaker' can present one or both of these perspectives:

• End - user - presents a real problem faced by him (or his client)
