Wow! Things have really changed since I last posted on this thread. Suddenly a damned deluge of assignmentsw, submission, more submissions and a presentation or two and some quizzes thrown in for good measure. All this just 17 days before the mid-terms.........but let's face it, having just returned from an extremely gruelling and intellectually challenging session of pool which followed an equally exhausting evening at the coffee bar and a afternoon in la-la-land, I guess, I don't really have a right to crib about sleepless nights.

But seriously, the workload has gone up.....not like Engg. anymore, nut still not as bad as it is often made out to be......ManAc though is seriously becoming a pain....was up all night last night doing the freaking assignment and still ended up giving up on it as a bad joke........which brings me tosome of the questions being asked.....sample this absolute gem!!!! Most B-schoolers will get this (I hope ;-) ). After 2 and a half weeks of ManAc and umpteen transactions this question arises "Sir, why are stocks on the liability side? After all, they should be ASSETS!!!!" This is followed by a protracted 3-minute discussion between the prof and the student concerned which ends with the student asking, "Sir, whose balance sheet is this? The organisation or the individual?" Errr.......ummm......
All in all, not too bad really....entertainment is essential after all. Specially when you consider that half the campus was up all night yesterday. 2nd year coz of their exams and us coz of the freaking ManAc assignment.......
The only really negative thing I can think of right now is the damned 80% attendance rule. Either meet that or face a letter drop (that means that if you have a B+, you drop straight to a C, skipping the B, B- and C+ in between. :(:(
By the way, Kandy, request you to please clarify on the glorifying of the mess food. Also request you to elaborate on the following statement:
