Hi aru ,
The CTC composition is something that differs from company to company. Assuming atleast an 80% fixed component in the 10 LPA CTC , one would typically end up with around 65-68k pm in hand excluding early bonuses assuming that the package is cash-rich(IT firms packages usually are.) whereas on the other hand the in-hand cash could be as low as 40k as companies pack a lot of useless stuff into the ctc as well. A particular I-bank's package which is quoted as 16 lpa gives only around 65k in hand pm (excluding yearly bonus again) given that they pack even ur training costs into the CTC.

Hope this helps. But my sincere advice if you are an aspirant , would be to ignore the average salaries quoted by the instis (90% of which are totally fictious) and inquire a bit more into what stuff the b-school is made of when deciding on a school.
