'The Economist' is the weekly magazine published from London and is the most reputed magazine amongst leading enterpreneurs. At PROTON we are been issued this weekly magazine and our Chief Mentor Mr.Sandeep Manudhane give us the detailed story of the articles in the magazine which gives us the more knowledge apart from what economist tries to tell us....

more interesting is that now we are so used to the schedule of PROTON that if we get a leisure time more than an hour we get bored of being idle ...that's the transformation what we gained from PROTON's 1st Trimester.

Proton is unique of its kind
It consists of 8 fabulous minds working together in its top team
The most important feature is its Global MDP program which takes place every month in which global speakers/lecturers come to our campus for giving us valuable inputs and insights through there interactive sessions
Then we have weekly Economist sessions on every Saturday by our Chief Mentor Mr. Sandeep Manudhane Sir, which had changed our global perspective to a great extent
Apart from regular classroom sessions we have several other practical sessions and projects from time to time
Learning Management by fun is also there through games and quizzes
Special CHAUPAAL sessions are there for developing leadership and public speaking
Etc.etc.from my side it is an endless list to tell you I had just picked out some main points
Regarding placements it’s the first batch so placement will happen next year but we will be having summer placement recruitments after 15-20 days…..
And we are already having tie-ups with several companies for final placements like Wipro, NEN etc.
1 more thing its possibly the only B-School in India which is having an HONOUR CODE which we used to speak regularly and follow its principals in our day to day life

So plz.be positive because its time for a positive change

pls.feel free to ask any more queries about mba and proton

Life at Proton is just awesome..
It surely demands a lot and life is not easy, lots of efforts are required to be put in and if one wants a good b-school then she/he should not try to escape this fact that hard work rather smart work is the first requisite.
My personal experience has een awesome..
Hats Off to my top-team and all the faculty members.. I very well understood this fact that succes lies in people because rest everything can be copied.. our Economist, Foreign tours and even the Global Mdp's would be surely copied in future by other b-schools but one thing which cant b copied is our people and the passion which flows in all of us because of them..
With 8 people in our top team from IIT IIM Stanford and Gold medalist background, we really have an exposure to everything..
And beleive me they are not just on charts..
We can to meet them in our classrooms on a regular basis.. and this is the biggest differentiator.. And the other is our HONOUR CODE in which we all beleive from the bottom of out heart.
I m Proud to be PROTON..
Its time for Positive change...

The purpose of this thread is getting a bit hazy. Are you talking about life at Proton here or are you answering aspirant queries?

To Proton students - kindly understand the rules of the forum and what each section is for. Life@ threads are basically for blogging about day-to-day student life at b-school.

If you wish to answer student queries, please open a separate queries thread answered by students in the section about the entrance exam your b-school considers. Dont do it here.

Please work on the scope of this thread according to forum rules from here onwards.

Cheers,

Life at PROTON B SCHOOL,Indore - 11-10-2008, 05:10 PM

Well its been one week my second trimester at Proton started.
it has been awesome..
I learned a lot of new things.. In the first wek itself we had a guest lecture from the zonal head of Ultratech Cement and got a very good insight into the cement industry...
The Chaupaal sessions are as usual going amazing and one very interesting thing we had this week was the TV stations which were there at chaupaal..
It was all like, all our four sections were divided into four TV stations and the students had to Showcase there channels on that in whatever form they wanted..
I personally enjoyed it a lot because my channel won and i also participated in it...
It was fun...
The week was full of excitements and fun..
