First of all thanks for such an amazing and detailed reply.

Hmm...an Intra College Counterstrike tournament...

Here in GIM...Nobody plays Counterstrike...

THEY BLOODY LIVE IT!!!!

Inter Divisionary Counter Strike matches are a regular feature and they go on for like 7-8 hours and when the result is out, the winning team takes out a march through the main hostel and the kind of ignominy faced by the losing team....theyd rather be soldiers of a lost war than be on the losing CSteam....

I know amny of my seniors simply by their CS names.

Even though I dont play, I know how big a deal it is for lovers. My neighbour is the 2nd best player...

Studies have begun in every sense of the word earnest...

The First of the case studies have rolled on by,MIS and Accts have both opened there Accounts,balance sheets are now atleast no more a rocket science for me..

Pedagogy for case studies is same as it is other B-schools,with we being assigned in groups of 5-6 and work as an team...

Life @IMT-D is Cool...!!

Wifi is working right now in the academic block and library..its just that we have ordered for a new higher bandwidth line from the telecom operator over here which is expected to go online any time from first week in nov(Optimist!)..there have been some technical difficulties which have lead to a delay in we being able to get thru but i am sure mid nov(Pessimist!) will be the last date of our whole campus wi-fi..

so case studies have begun to come in....soon enough they will begin to pile up...and later, if you are like me, they will begin to gather dust!!!

Jokes apart, I was amazed to see that b schools everywhere face similar issues...

something as trivial as wifi..even my campus, the Acad n lib block is wifi and we life in perpetual optimism about whole campus wifi...

Group work which you do will be the most amazing part of the MBA experience....

I am sure you will meet some realy great minds...and sometimes, god forbid...some not so great minds....

and in the worst case, people belonging to the second category labouring under the delusion that they belong to the first category mentioned above...

Group work will throw up some of the best and worst moments of your MBA....and fr non work ex ppl like me, its a huge learning opportunity...

Hey, do you have something called Class Participation there?

Like people raisng their hands and asking questions and raising points ranging from Really relevant which adds to the knowledge to the DOWNRIGHT BIZZARRE!!! That too is a lot of fun...
