nywayz wanted to share my xprience....of last meet @ India gate....
dat day it was rainin hard n we all were supposed 2 gather around at 6...but despite the rain we guyz manage to land there 4 m historic meet ....
but as usual i was late 4 d meet 'cause of traffic..u now...the delhi roadz after rain...but man i still manager to get there....around 8 i guess...
n after reaching there i had sum gud intraction wid guyz....we all had ice-cream....n had couple of photos....we all had a gr8 time 2gather n had fun...
now m waitin to meet all of u at imt-g....hope to c u there...

Hi Puys,

Hope you all are doing good.

This is my first post after coming over to IMT-Ghaziabad for our 15 day orientation cum Retreat programme and it feels really good to be here.,I mean just to be here and get a kick start to my MBA is simply amazing.

We all the students of IMT-Dubai arrived yesterday and right from that time as they say "we can feel the heat...!!",it all started with we being allocated our rooms,all girls were allocated rooms within the hostel in the campus,and lucky few boys like yours truly whose names starts with 'A' were also allocated rooms in the hostel,rest of the boys were being accomodated in Hotel Mela Plaza right next to our campus.

The Whole of yesterday went by in a whisker in alloting rooms and getting acquantited with new friends.

Today was the big day when we had our Orientation programme and boy what a orientation it turned out to be simply amazing.

Gota rush for now,but will back soon with the all deatils of the amazing day we all had today.

This was just one of the amazing thoughts with which we started our orientation programme.

ORIENTATION PROGRAMME FOR CLASS OF 2010!

This is the day,I am sure that all of the MBA aspirants dream of,there first day @B-School,there are loads of questions in ones mind,like who all are our batchmates,what will be our life from now on,how will things change and umpteenth more questions,so with all these questions in our mind,we got up this morning to a new chapter in our lifes.

And the orientation programme that we had today,not only lived upto all of our expectations but exceeded them by a good margin.

Highlights of The Orientation Programme.

1) The Esteemed Panel of Our Orientation Ceremony.

Dr.B.S Sahay(Director,IMT-Ghaziabad),innaugrated our orientation ceremony by lighting up the holy lamp,he welcomed us to the IMT family and shared with us his vision for IMT and how IMT-Dubai was at the forefront of that picture,then Dr.Arvind Seth(Dean-Academics,IMT-Dubai) Shared with us his first hand experiences @IMT-dubai and what kind of life we could expect @IMT-D and what all was expected of us,other members of the panel included Dr.A.M Sherry(Director-Admissions Committie-IMT),Dr Chakaravarthy(Dean,IMT-Ghaziabad) and Mr.Acharaya(Chief Administrative officer,IMT-Ghaziabad),we were really privleged to hear from all these esteemed personalties.

2) Presence of Two of Our Seniors from the class of 2006 @ Orientation Programme.

Mr.Vikas Misra and Ms.Meenal Chatturvedi two of seniors graced the occassion and shared there first hand experiences as a student @IMT-Dubai,they were really good to interact with and put a rest to all the question's that we all had.Thanks a lot for helping us out!

3)The Diversity of Our Batch.

This is one of the added advantage for our batch,I have my friends joining me fro not only all over India but also from dubai,sharjah and so on..we have national level sportsperson in our batch,Indian Idol Contestant and so on...it really feels gr8 to be a part of this batch which I am sure is going to do take IMT-D where it should be.

It Truly was an enriching experience of interacting with all and share there experiences,truly gave us an outlook of what to look forward of Life @ IMT-D.

Thank you all for making all this possible.

Special Thanks to Mr.Santosh(Placement officer @IMT-D),Ms Philomina and Ms.Anitha for co-ordinating through the programme.

Its Almost 4:00 AM in the morning and I have not slept even for a minute,i guess there is something in the air over here that doesn't let me...,I am writing this from the IMT-Ghaziabad Library and even now its as alive as 10 A.M in the morning..just met a batch mate from IMT-Ghaziabad @ Nescafe,he had just hoped in for a quick round of maggi before heading off to studies...(Every one of IMT-G 1st year student has a kotler book in there hand now...gearing up for the exam scheduled later today..) and just as I was discussing with my friend,how bad it will be tommorow as we had not slept thru the night and have a real tight schedule tommorow and blah blah.we were enlightened by him that,we should be happy cause we are atleast getting a nights sleep cause during there orientation week they didnt have even an hours sleep.:beta1: and my cribbing stopped just there....

The Campus life @IMT-Ghaziabad is one of the best in the world,I mean you can do anything you want to at anytime 24x7,play tennis,do gym,basketball,library..as the punch line goes "city never sleeps",it would suit aptly to IMT-G.

I would like to a word of special thanks to all the staff and students @IMT-Ghaziabad for being so supportive and helpful to us.

I reached IMT G on Sunday night around 10pm. I was in two minds weather to go or not as i was suffering from 102 fever...............but the charm of Bschool couldn't keep me away from it. Although my health deteriorated and I had to unfortunately come back to Mumbai, I just cant wait to get back there as soon as my health permits............
So pray for me guys..................
and Il be back cauz i dont wanna miss all my frnz who will be my family too.........

You are doing a really good job keeping this thread alive and now I can see that participation from your batchmates is on the rise. This thread is gonna rock very soon...(if it isnt already)

Well the reason I really loved this thread is that I feel that its a sort of time capsule. Having already spend my first three months in a B School and having gone through that initial euphoria of making it to good school and excitement over the prospects of making so many new friends and learning so many new things just shows in your posts and I can relate to it like hell.....and its so very memorable....

I have read every post in this nascent thread and I intend to be a regular follower because I think it would be really interesting to see how your life shapes up in the new environment. Looking forward to seeing whats similar and whats not in your B School experience...The kind of load, the kind of work, the kind of hardships you go through(yeah i am pretty sure prof will put u through them ) and the kind of FUNNNN you have....

Do keep this thread rocking
