the frenzied week and moments of glories thats what has marking my life here.
its seems u r left in open sea with high tide where water water every where is just trying to kill. as soon u get regain consciousness more of that water seeps inside ur body and pushes u back under current.
A week of surprise quizes and test whew! how bad life can get with just ten days left in term calendar and u get to know u have no of stuff coming up with no time to mug up the lessons..
University fo Cincinnati prof is about to visit campus this week and then we have this PDP.. and extra classes and cases and assignments and event prep..and..and..
last week group F- tahts formula 1 event was awesome! with themed on NFS enjoyed hell lot thre.. kudos to sarvesh and his creative team for filling some life back in us. my group as usual flooded the events with us coming top in every parameter
I go an impromptu topic to speek " To be or not to be" and on public demand changed to " to sleep or not to sleep"
thats was some fun.
my learning and overall development seems to have sky rocketed.. though i feel i dont get time for myself at all dont get time to study something different as per now..but as they say these 6 months and u r thru..m just hoping for the tide to go down..
IIM Shillong is all set to deliver one more surprise package very soon..and m so happy that m [part of it .. | | | | | The Following 4 Users Say Thank You to diablorulez For This Useful Post:

Thanku sarvesh
with term end jst round corners.. and musings of golf doing rounds across board rooms.. with guest lecturers from McKinsey Singapore guy and the baffling concepts of Cost theory by renowned Pradyut sen of University of cincinnati there is hardly any life left in me to speak anything
whats so great is after 2 months of rubbing ur what-not-par-of-body u r told one day all kind of costs are Myth the basic funda or philososphy or rather shaken concepts are turned upside down.
now this weather is also acting weird ..seems all the tyranny of PGP office has formed the abode of clouds and instead of my eyes God is showing the true call of mercy
A confession of a serious day dreamer " man u gotta have gf here to enjoy this IIM" tragically our esteemed CAT and the schedule of oh so worthy place doesn't even give chance to see a speck of beauty around.
anyways that apart its totally fun to do this golf thing..well it would be better if i say less right now..and let it happen once for all..

whew!! well short brief
after a power packed exams which made us reach the extreme. the pinnacle of our slogging.. the next sem starts from tomm
The special feature of our exams has been the legendary stunt by nileshm the guy was so engrossed with studies that he didn't sleep throughout the exams and hence happened the inevitable .. he didn't wake up for our OB exam.. in middle of the exam the prof called him and woke him up .. man! that was crazy poor guy came back huffing running .. and in a hr finished his paper and sai "cool hai " har ek mein to top nahi karna chahiye na
anyways Hoping against hope to pass ..lets c what happens tomm is our next sem registration and the inauguration of MDP programme..
cheers n yeah suiiiiit-up | | | | | The Following 9 Users Say Thank You to diablorulez For This Useful Post:

adding to diablo bhai xprience about sem..Diablo was found in liabrary throughout the exam week. very hard working. sarvesh health detoriated due to extra burden of the studies.and MYSELF just escaped failure in 3 paper and getting mad. The only good thing about the exam was that we all were getting ready to head to our hometown at the end of the last paper.
And here we are back to our room;geared up with all cylinders burning to fire in the second sem. But unfortunately our prof aree ready with fire extinguishers.. IIM Shillong 2008-2010 Batch... | | | | | The Following 4 Users Say Thank You to sareet For This Useful Post:

i need to catch some sleep now as the event starts early tomorrow morning.....

hey friends...
sorry for the delay in reporting back!!!!! it took me some time to recover from the hangover of the match
any ways
the "koopdaa cup" (as the cricket tournament was called) kicked off in great style on thursday 9th oct 2008.
There is a story behind the name of the cup, but i would let it be one of the mystries that one can discover only
when he/she comes to IIM S. Any ways we had great fun yesterday in the leauge matches of the cup and the
semifinals and finals are due to be played on a date that would be announced later!!!!
the other good news is that my team made it to the semis beating the hot favourites Gully Googly (yeah thats
diablos team ) theirs were the team which currently hold the record of highest runs scored in a single
innings!!!!!
It was great fun to see every body throwing themselves around to save some runs....
am now looking forward for the finals.... my captian is making me work very hard practicing for the matches to
come!!!! now i know what made him so good that he once took the wicket of our very dear ODI captian MSD | | | | | The Following 3 Users Say Thank You to sarvshwet For This Useful Post:
