Inviting B-School Leaders - Revamp of the B-Schoolers Rank System

Time for a revamp of the B-schoolers group rank system which we have been following till- date as mentioned here: B-schoolers: Get your B-school Group Ranks - Show off your B-school on your profile! - PaGaLGuY.com - The Everything of MBA, CAT 2008, GMAT, XAT, IIM (B-schoolers: Get your B-school Group Ranks - Show off your B-school on your profile!)

Most of the existing group-leaders are off the forum and some groups are public making it a free-for all. So to upgrade the system and make it more relevant to the situation in 2008, we invite fresh group-leaders from all the B-schools across India. And what does a group-leader have to do?

Well the same things which the earlier group-leaders used to do. Quoting from uRmad's post:

And since we are starting this right now, naturally we would want people who are willing to take the responsibility of the leader for their school..You would have to reply with your official institute id for that.....Consequently, these people have to regularly keep checking their usercp for any incoming requests and act accordingly...

So inviting nominations for group-leaders for each and every B-school across India. Here's how we plan to do it. Anyone and everyone currently in a B-school is free to volunteer for leading his or her B-school group. Or all the B-schoolers can decide amongst themselves and nominate a person to be the group-leader. In case of more than one nominations for a school (which should be a very very rare case) the mods will sit together and decide the leader among the nominees. And for B-schools for which there are no leaders nominated, I and/or other mods would be leading the groups and accepting or rejecting request as and when they come.

Please raise a request for it and if considerable amount of students are found active on the forum, the same can be added as well

And yes International Students are not to be left behind. Wait for a few days and we will have a system in place for them too

The old leaders for all the groups would be replaced by the new leaders from this thread. That is in fact the reason why we are doing this exercise - To replace the old inactive leaders with the current students so that the system works more smoothly and efficiently

Till the new system with new leaders et al is announced the current system would be place

Ok, one question.... other than the email id, how do I confirm that somebody is indeed part of my b-school ? Especially in the beginning, when I dont know people....

You would be at least better placed than us right

As a rule you should not accept requests until you are 100% sure. Now the only way we have of doing it is via email ids. But I am sure B-schoolers can think of other ways to confirm if a particular id is from their school or not

Hi Nikhil,

Wel I had been requesting Rohit for sometime now to get IMT Dubai on this panel and seems like it has worked and it feels gr8 to have IMT Dubai on board puyland..Thanks a lot PG...

And,now as the next step I would like to nominate myself as the Group Leader for IMT Dubai.
