Hi guys,

well I have been fortunate enough to get a call from Simc for the gd/pi round... and would like some advice... I have recently completed my Bachelors in business mgt and have no background in media. i have opted for PR as my specialization. what are my chances? do they prefer ppl with work ex? are they open to freshers? and since i have no experience in media, do you think i'd stand a chance?

i m putting my 100% into the assignments and doing them to the best of my abilities, i have been reading a lot of journals related to the media industry and have been trying to get know anything and everything abt PR ( i feel like am doing a crash course here!)

another thing i wanted to know was..since jan 24th is PR day ( the sessions on PR will take place on that day)..will the gd/pi process for the PR students take place on the same day?

i know wht u guys r feelin right now (being there myself two yrs back and PG has threads n posts to prove it .

However, please keep the questions to the other simc thread. the fetsocomm (or FOC) thread will help ya in grp discussions and PI build up.

so come up with ur views on the various subjects FOC is relating to. im sure a good amount of knowledge is there to be shared in all of us tht will be mutualy beneficial.
