first day at mfc(master of finance and control), University Of Delhi - 12-08-2007, 03:02 PM

The first day of MFC and there is an atmosphere of nervousness and excitement in the air. The students were in their smart looking formals eagerly awaiting the start of the program. Students started huddling up in groups, some were college mates and others were trying to get acquainted with others. It was a mix of people from all over the country, majorities were Delhites and others came from far off places such as Assam, Meghalaya as well as Kolkata and Haryana. Everyone was filled with anticipation and lots of questions in there minds but one thing was for sure, life was going to change for the better or the worse, that’s yet to be seen. The batch comprises mainly of commerce students and couple of engineering grads as well as economics grads. As interaction began and the students got to know each other better it can be seen that friendships were made; some may stand the test of time some may not, its all for time to tell.
Excitement ran through the air as one by one the first and second year students came into the hall and the orientation program began. The orientation program was very interactive and highly un-orthodox but I guess this is the way MFC is. A quick speech by the head of department welcoming the new students, and the introduction got on the way. During the introduction session, some faces were shining brightly as their credentials and more importantly their self confidence bordering on the narrow line between pride and ego sets them apart from all, this is the group that will create some new entrepreneurs and the coming gurus of stock markets, who knows, may be even a Ketan Parekh. After all, they are the learned people and whichever way they use their knowledge totally depends on them and only time will tell the tale to come.

 :snipersm:
