| B-Schoolers : Get Your Ranks/Join your B-school's group -

Allrighty people.....Are you in a B-school? Then you need to get yourself a rank that says you are from that B-school! And to do the same, you need to join the group that has been setup for your B-school !!
Steps to follow - - First, go check up your user Control panel and proceed to the Group Memberships Page.
- Scroll down and find your school...You will find a corresponding "Join Group" option. Click on that.
- That would lead you to a Request page where you have to give a reason for joining the group...You need to enter your Name and Official Email ID given to you by your institute.
- Finally, click on "Send Request". Voila....Your request is then sent to your group leader.
- After your request has been approved , you can then change your usergroup from within your User Control Panel, so that your new rank image shows through! Until you do this, your group membership is not reflected in your profile as well as your posts !!
Who is a group leader? A leader is one who is also from the same school and who has the rights to give you membership to the group !! A leader's rights are limited *only* to giving access permissions....This way, since everyone in a school knows another (atleast we assume so  ) , we can be doubly sure that its not a false/fake request....A leader has access to only his group's permissions....
And since we are starting this right now, naturally we would want people who are willing to take the responsibility of the leader for their school..You would have to reply with your official institute id for that.....Consequently, these people have to regularly keep checking their usercp for any incoming requests and act accordingly...
This way, we hope its gonna benefit all

| Post your official insti email id here, only if you are volunteering to take the responsibility of processing requests from your batchmates.... For others who just want to be the members, put in a request there and as soon as we fix up the leaders, you will become members of the group...

Praveen, and all others whose requests have been processed, you will need to go into your usercp again and change your usergroup to reflect your b-school...Until you do that, the group membership is not reflected in your profile or posts (have edited my original post to include this--point #5)

Check the modification in the original post. We need your full name and official email ID before granting of the ranks.
