Talking about the regional backgrounds of students I would like to say that at LIBA it is strongly against principles to do such segregation but since it is for information I would give that information. In business people will have situations that they have to adjust to.
Anyways the biggest chunk of people in LIBA come from two far off places Delhi and Kerala 20-25 each. The localites constitute another 20 odd. Then the rest is filled by people from Mumbai,Ahmedabad,Kolkata,U.P,Haryana,punjab,M.P,Jh arkhand,Bihar and west bengal.

Yes I would like to share some good entertaining info about the freshers party that we had over the week end.We had some really foot tapping music and dance programmes. The theme was to dress up in fancy stuff like pirates of the carribean,Tom and Jerry, Angels, Roman soldiers, any theme ......and man everybody had their creative caps on....We had gabbar singh, ravana, a lot of angels, celebrities, pirates, pandits, the tribals whose motto was "Welcome to the Jungle",we had draculas, butterflies, all kinds of fancy costumes..................it was really thrilling that we as management grads can have so much fun doing this. The real interesting part was when the programmes commenced....we had the Dean's address for 5 mins, a group dance,a skit, the rock performance, solo performances,Life at LIBA film made in house, the instrumentals which included the guitar performance by one of our seniors, then Leo at the drums enthralled the whole audience.....................we had a surprise entry with some of us entering on bikes then proceeding to perform on stage ...........it was really a superb event. well I will keep updating as and when possible...got to go have work at hand.....till then post queries..

i just wanted to know how diverse the batch was.. i know it really helps in ur mba when ppl from diff backgrounds come together so that they learn a lot ..
for eg.. a class full of engineers might have so many things in common that the learning is not much.. but ..
like wat u ve told.. ppl who are from commerce bg, engg, sciences etc.. and the diff fields that they ve worked in, brings in a lot of learning. thats y i asked u abt ur bkgnd.
i m sorry if i had deviated from what was intended to be discussed in this thread.
