idodtrick, Good job there 
Ok, even though all the points in the article point towards XLRI, I guess the intention of the author was not to launch an attack against its alma mater. But instead bring out the true picture of the things that go behind all those lovely placement reports that we come across. Something needs to be done to address this issue so that students dont fall under this trap of joining Bschools because of hefty pay packages.
When pagalguy.com was started in 2002, and the 1st batch of members joined in 2003, me and Allwin had expected a lot from that bunch. Hoping that they'll post here the true picture of what exactly is the "Life at XYZ". 4 years down the line, the story is still the same.
Any pointers ?

OOPS 1 more B-school did it again,
Puys we spend our precious time and concentrate to get into Bschool of our destiny but at croosroads of career if we know something like this its shocking and depressing ..The institute in question ranks in league of IIM's.I hope institutes to be lil transparent about placement figures giving company's name vis a vis students name and salary as recently done by AMRITA B school this year.Its like shopping in market where all laws of economics remain on paper where anykind of duping is possible at behest of brand name....AICTE must immediately take action against such malpractices without fail and see to it Education at the expense of SALARIES (motive of Bschool aspirants majorly ) shuold not be compromised.

this is a time when ppl have to make choices .... can u let us know of ur source of info ?? | I had read the placement report of many a colleges and had noted this very FMCG point at the time of its release, hence was confident, anyways while others have pointed out the proof...I ws quite surprised at the time since an institute of the stature of the IIMs shd not be doing what has happened...
