Since 5 days my room looks deserted or is it my room sounds that way???...ya ya it sounds that way bcoz my 2800watts 5.1 has gone for a check up. Hopefully it will come back in 2 more days. Forgot to tell u..Loud Music is Oxygen for me... I breathe through my 5.1 Edifier. U know my 100 GB MP3 collection has rotten and i guess it needs sun bathing soon. ( Fungus attacked it last nite after it was unused for 4 days)

Some guys admonish me for listening only to Remixes which has a share of 40% of overall collection. But i love the loud decibel sounds and Techno beats, Bass quakes... its the ultimate salvation. Away from civilisation with a bunch of smart kidz fighting for a degree what do u do when u get tired of system?? Oh yeah listen to music... But i hav to rethink my explanation as i hav already recieved warning from Admin thrice...

About Remix Vs Original????

This is a tough one... Isn't the Old wine in new bottle always a hit....

• Remix always hav a good lyrics ( Bcoz Good songs are picked to be remixed)
• If u dont want to listen to the Techno beats or bass tunes why the hell buy Speker system then...
• Whole packaging of song is entertaining.
• Beats are fast and catchy so in turn pep up mood and lifts u up ( till ur head bangs the ceiling)

Looking forward to thursday so that i can blow away BH... And if Finance permit i am going for Creative External Sound Blaster CArd bcoz cost is a bomb (6000 bucks for a Pendrive like object which simply acts like booster for sound out put)

Music apart, one thing always bother me.... that we dont hav a Good Audi... ya true.
2 Audi's that r there r very small. sitting capacity of 100 max. It is used for guests lecture etc. But i hav seen Audi of different colleges and we suck!!! Thats the reason every other function has to be done outside (Plenty of space in IBA campus) inside a Shamiana...

First year introduction sesssion to Graduation ceremony is done under a shamiana...what i dont understand is why not a build a big Audi which can be used to host all these functions.. Moreover imp guest lecture (Like when chairman of DAbur came calling last year) can be host without hassles. That day we had to fight for a Inch of place in T1 Audi to rest our backs... that gentleman must hav thought how eager this crowd is.. they r simply fighting to be there and listen to me.....
Sorry sir the only reason we were there was a Pricey Fine of 500 rupees for not attaining that lecture!!!

Another factor is MAnagement Fest.. IBA has always come champs at many events in and around Blore. Thats a very good achievement but why can't we host a Fest ourselves???
That would be a real Brand Bulding exercise. IBA is conspicuous in hosting a Fest in Fest circuit although offset that winning medals... May be A big Audi of 1000 capacity is imperative in order to host any fest. lets c....

and i am getting real pissed off by the food in mess. everytime i cant move to Vaishnovi..its so costly and thing is why the hell should i go when i hav paid 18000 a year for mess. ANyways i make it up by regulary having Kauwa Kabab at Ranga.....

We r in IBA for 9 months a year so the mess charge we pay per day is Rs 66
A break fast, lunch , dinner and a tea cost Rs 60 at Shanti sagar for a day.

Is it not possible to offer a better deal...Rafique????

Hope Young Guns who hav just joined IBA can take lead and fight it out...we r old and tired, so excuse us....

Hi Folks,
Got some time to scribble after the tedious exams. As all are aware of the international conf being held in the month of nov 19 - 21, all the teams hav started their work. Iam in cp team. Havin lil bit of n a bit of learning.
Donno the status of clubs that has given us lot of value propositions.
My exams were ok types ,but hoping..... "every thing gonna be alright." I know its very early think about all the stuff now.Anyways moving for the Dinner.

AN UPDATE ABOUT OUR LIFE IN iba (REAL TIME! )

Dear IBA family,

Only by the month of September the senior batch (only a very few from08-10) had started thinking about having a forum which reflects each and every thing inside IBA(as Life @IBA...) because of so many obvious reasons .

I just went through this link once while I was doing my so called MBA leaning through google at 2.30 am,in september.It simply came to my mind," This is what we are looking for ...."

Thanks to the so many 05-07 and 06-08 IBA guys for initiating this. Thanks again for giving us a fair idea about the life in IBA back in the days.

Few things will not change with time . Few things will.
Mess food, schedule , first year CGPA hurdle of 4.2 ETC ETC
That will not change .....even in 2020!

The changes that has happened inside the main gate in the long run affected everything including the students acdemics , thought process , and even the feeling of being a PG student!

Now onwards , this is the place where we discuss about our life in the most beautifully made incubation centre ,IBA.


I believe MBA is just a paltform where you learn how to manipulate your personality into a corporate friendly one . We are not learning, we are just undergoing small modification. Instead of saying THINK BEYOND , we should start THINK REAL!

The ideas and skills cannot be injected. It has to be perceived. At this age nothing cant be taught , but everything can be learned.

The hurdles in between you and learning can be the lack of opportunity to think and act freely.That is the only bad thing happened in IBA since ,may be 2008.

That happened just beacuse of the deterioration in the quality of the faculties and weak HR policies adopted by IBA top management. This is not the place just to critisize everything in IBA . I am just pointing out the huge difference in the quality between 03-05 and 08-10.

We cannot blame evrything on top management also. After all everything in this world is a business. But some of the
changes or modifications or recruitments done by the management are really killing this college.

Everything has a down time and an up time ...may be ,this is the bad phase for IBA . As a part of the IBA family, I feel guity for not doing anything regarding this.

I remember one quote from a movie:- If you are not into politics ,politics will come into your life.

This is true when we(08-10) think about the life we had in this college. So many good memories and so many bad ones also. Thats just a normal thing in any college . But as a batch ,we are pretty reluctant to give the freshers also( no offence to 09-11) just because of few hidden feelings. Those feelings are creating so many excuses just not to pay for freshers party.

We dont hate juniors ...we dont hate IBA (if you ask any 08-10 guy personally).. But we hate the feel we are getting from this campus.

I am not trying to demoralising the juniors. The reasons are many.50% of these are created by our own batch mates(including me) and our seniors. But those are the regular students issues...but the rest 50% is the deciding factor.

If we conduct a survey in IBA regarding the college , near about 20% will be interested in keeping touch .

Near about 5% will be interested in doing some thing for the college.

It just happened ...No point in disecting or doing a postmortem at this last stage. As every one says, 4 more months ..get rid of it!(reminds me the ford strategy of selling the BLACK cars).

Who is in the losing side??

college ?? or ourselves??

Definitely both ....

Be a part of the solution ..not the problem!
If we think like that , there is only one way ahead....communicate.

communicate with the right ones...argue...discuss...fight !!

but only on relevent topics with the relevent ones.

I know ,its a very boring topic ..

So I am stoping ..with an offering to the 09-11 batch.Any queries ,worries , confusions..do ask! i am not promising you a solution.But I can give you few tips to make a decision.(Based on the past data and on going trends ,we managers make informed decisions!!..thanks to MR).

Hope this year onwards our placements will rock!!
we are palying the injury time now. If we score we win.

Apart form that , I dont have anything to say at this moment.I just vomited all the suffocating stuff I had in me.


Now everything up to us.
Lets act like MBA's ....Lets hope this thread will become the life line of IBA in future..
