Dear Jimit I think Indira is better than in terms of Infrastructure, Loacation, Faculty. In terms of Placement both are same but each year the Placement of Indira is getting better.In terms of fee I dont have idea.

dear jimit,

i visited indira instt of mgmt, but i didnt find it gud infra wise also transport is a big problem out there if ur oms student as far dalmis is concerned its fee is 1.25 per annum n they also givin a degree of pgft (foreign trade) with pgdba dont know much bout mms prog. though comparisons r not allowed in ma opinion nl dalmia will b a better choice if resident of pune indira can b considered.

Aim for top 10 guys ! Dont waste your money in these institutes ! Work for a year and then try your hand at top 10.

Both these institute are a waste of time and money.

Yes I do. I know 2 ppl from IIMM pune. One of them is placed in Andhra Bank and the other is with a KPO. I frankly dont trust the quality of these Pune-grade institutes (except Symbiosis Family and PUMBA to an extent).

Frankly, if I were in your place, I would visit the institute and get a first hand account and then do an unbiased analysis.

Somehow the IIMM guys do seem to be getting marketing placements and some KPO offerings in the 2.1-3 LPS salary slot. However, they overstate much in their prospectus.
As such, with the boom in financial services industry, they are not getting the cream of placements u see.

I would not put a bet on it despite its director, the "Army" man being a very genuine person coz placements are a big gamble in such institutes.

Col bala has excellent contacts in the industry,thats y he manages to place over a 1000 students yr after yr.
And as far as his genuiness is concerned,the less said the better,his craving for money n women is legendary.
