senior pgites can we discuss the weightage and importance of previous acad and work ex during final placements?

im asking this coz i have poor acads(bcom),2 yrs IT sales work ex and 1 yr bpo-im contemplating wether i should go for 1 yr mba(indian) or not.

i wanna make a career switch to banking sector and i wanna know if firstly 1yr course will give me tht oppurtunity and secondly how much will my bad acads and avrge work ex affect me?

its a career decison so do help me out.i hve admission in icfai gurgaon and am also thinking of BIM-Banglore's 1 yr course.....
