The course starts in April so that we can be better prepared during the december month campus season. And hey most institutes do declare their results by april, so dont worry.

U never mentioned on this thread that u got thru...the last message i read was the big bomb that was dropped by them...anyways...alls well that ends well...its gud to hear u made it...i was on the hold list till the last moment...and then couldnt make it...hws life at Glakes? I came to know bout RTata, AGodrej visiting ur campus...it wud have been very very exciting...hp i was also thr...

What do u recommend for this years preparation?? u have to play the role that Vijai and Kapil played this year...

YES.....the college is GREAT.......excellent faculty......we will be having some excellent visiting faculty from abroad in this term too....There is no dearth of industry depth in our business advisory council.......Interaction of students with Ratan Tata, Godrej etc was gr8.

Regarding preps

There is no min or max work-ex criteria. here we have people from 0 to 15 yrs workex. There is nothing like minimum CAT percentile or GMAT score. U have to prove your credentials in a combo pack comprising of Scores, Essays, Recommendation lettters, GD, PI . It wud be better if u refer www.glakes.org for more details
regarding preps.....do the basics....prepare for CAT/GMAT by putting arnd at least 3 hrs daily morning or evening....be thorough with current affairs and biz news....read read n read..biz mags , social issue mags etc etc....the rules of the game r same

Hi Karthika,
once you are selected you can avail educational loan from the Indian Bank with which we have a tie-up. Also there are other banks which give you loans for the purpose. Personally, I have taken the loan from UCO Bank, Calcutta without any hassles. So getting yourself admitted will not be any problem if you get thru' the final rounds of interview.
And there is no constraint as to who gets selected to avail the loan.

Yeah Karthika...no worries. U can easily get a loan here from Indian bank. Its not an issue at all. Most of the students take it here.
