Hi Vijai,
I am a bit confused with the mix response that I am seeing in the forum
A person says that all his certificates were checked thoroughly.But what happened to me was totally opposite.I am holding internation certification like Microsoft,Sun(2 certs),Cisco, and i am one of the few indians to be an IBM Specialist.Moreover a number of certifications in sports at national level and huge contribution in social service sector with certificates.
I specially asked the conerned person to verify my certificates and I had brought the photocopy of all of them but she did'nt care to een have alooky at any of em.
I jus felt bad about this because I had rejected my seat in SP jain Mumbai and Dubai with a positive oulook towards GLIM,but even after an awsome GD/PI in GLIM I believe that there was lot from my side to potray on my profile which I missed out on.
Wat dya say?

Hi All

I send my application yesterday evening was was surprised to get a call today evening that i have been short listed for an interview on 26th Sunday in Chennai. Just got my tickets done for saturday.

Just had a couple of queries, Wud be great if someone cud answer these

1) Ne idea how many ppl have been called for interview on this Sunday?
2) I have been asked to report arnd 8-8:30 AM, can ne one tell me that till what time the whole procees will get over since i havent got my return tickets done?
3) Where can I put up near GLIM? Are there ne hotels near GLIM?

Waiting for the replies. Please if neone can help me out with the above queries it would be great !!!!!

May go on till 5 in the evening.

If you are visiting by Train, there are quite a few hotels near the Chennai Central Railway Station. That place is some 15 kms away from the institute. When are you coming down ? Saturday or sunday ?

1) no idea.. anyways doesnt bother u either
2) it shud be safely be over by evening.. get the return tickets done for night
3) t nagar is near to saidapet... there u have many hotels @200 for one night
t nagar is 5-10 minutes away from glim by bus and also u have gud bus connectivity

I am coming by air on Saturday. Will be reaching Chennai arnd 4:30. I was wondering where can I put up near the airport? Since I will be flying back on sunday evening I would prefer a place that is close to both GLIM and the airport.
Ne place you guys suggest?

The site says that the last date for intervies is 25th. So was a little confused that i might have got it wrong about my interview being on on Sunday , 26th. Will confirm the same tomorrow morning.

Hi Gaurav,

I suggest you take a Taxi from Airport to T Nagar. There are lotsa hotels there. You can commute from T Nagar to the Institute in a rickshaw.

And interviews happen on 26th also. So no worries

i attended the interview in delhi on 18th. reading that ppl have got mails made me apprehensive about not recieving a mail myself. maybe i have not made it. neways, ATB to all trying for it.

U have got it completely wrong...u havent received the result doesnt mean u have not made it..only the people on hold and those who are rejected have got the results by now..and since u havent received any info, it might be either u r confirmed or on the waiting list...which is better than hold...so keep ur spirits high and fingers crossed...may be u can expect ur result today...
