hi viajay

this is shriram from Chennai. I aapeared for teh admission process on Dec 17. I had done really well in the Gd and PI. but have been waitlisted, n i think its majorly bcoz i have jus 10 months work ex. can u give me details about how many have been selected so far and how many freshers are there on that list. also please let me know how many more are there on the wait list and what are my chances?

hmmmmm.....I guess around 35 people in all had turned up till 10 am....So assuming a proportionate increase in number of students till 1pm....We can safely assume around 50-55 students must have turned up......Difficult to give exact figures

I dont know how many freshers are ther in the waitlist ... In fact, I dont even know how many people are waitlisted .. We do not have access to such specific numbers ..

I am also in same situation.. I applied in last week anticipating that I would get a date of 25th of this month..(supposedly last date..) want to appear for GET...
but no contact from office.
Infact I called up the admission dept, got the ans we would get back to u...
thats fine but i m coming all the way from Pune.. 24 hr train journey.. already booked tickets..
so in big imbraglio.. bit tensed ...
Please can somebody help me out... ??
I would be obliged to me meanwhile i ll do the follow up ITS URGENT

better check up ur emial or ask 'em bfore goin to chennai cos many applications r being rejected cos evn at my center in delhi there ver 3-4 ppl who came to the center n thn came to kno dat there appli was rejected..
it is advisable dat first confirm the status of ur appli n thn go to chennai.
mebbe prashanth or vijai can help u regarding ths !!!

jus want to know whats the number of freshers in ur batch? n also when will wee know the fate of those waitlisted for sure?? coz i had a not so good experience in teh end of Feb when the review committee was supposed to meet and we were kept guessing daily and then afer a coulpe of weeks were told tat we would know about it only by end March.

So what are u specialising in ? Have u been placed?

We have 18 freshers in our batch. And mentioned before, by March end the status of all candidates will be known.

And I remember you sayin that you graduated from hold to wait list right? That was the result of the review committee meeting that happened by Feb end. And the next meeting will happen sometime next week.

Hi,

Called up Great Lakes Office now....They said results will be known only by tomorrow and not today....so keep your fingers crossed till tomorrow.....ATB
