Hey people,
When is the last date for submitting the application? The website says that it is 24th, but in the application form it says 17th. Can anyone clarify my doubt please?
I am from Chennai and i m planning to take the GET, GD, PI on 25th.

20th is the last day for receiving the completed applications..so we request you to hurry up the completed applications ASAP

HI All,

I want to take GET Now as GMAT Did'nt go on expected line ... I know this question my turn seniors & other get testers red & blue

but on this page there are so many mixed replies about get pattern ... can any one who has taken this test sum up for me ....

Diffculty

CAT
GMAT or lower

the areas from which they got questions in general .....
MAths (I am week in Algebra & +2 level topics like progressions etc)

English - I have a 90%ile in english .. is is good enough for cracking get or it is in comparison with gmat ....

Guys please dont mind please take time to answer these quesions in detail .....

Well this was one problem the other one is that

I will not be able to take get before 24th , what if I submit my form on 24th .. will they give me chace to write get when they call me for interview .... seniors please clarify....

Hi !!

As far as pattern, plz refer to prev posts. Difficulty level depends on individuals. And please submit the app forms on or before 20th.

hi krishna, thankx for replying so promptly.... Buddy I have a probelm ... relying on the info that last date for form submission is 24th ... I planned a trip which was long overdue.... now the problem I face is I am returning on 21st and can send the form etc only after that..... what should I do ????

No chance of me submitting it on 23rd or 24th......
PLs what about GET I was planning to take it when they give me date for gd/pi .... when I submit my application on by 24th will they allow me take GET after that date ....

Hi!!

The last round of admissions is to happen on 25th. The inst needs the list of applicants by 22nd to schedule and organise the process. All applications are screened before shortlist .. so it takes 2 days for that. Keepin this in mind, if you submit the forms on 24th, the inst. will not be able to accomodate you.

hi vijai,

am intending to attend gd/pi on 25th at chennai. now i have not despatched my application yet since one of my recos is held up. i will be despatching my appln on monday i.e. 20th so that it should reach reach by 22nd morning. am leaving for chennai on 23rd morning and will reach on 24th afternoon at 4. how will i know what time i have to report at the insti for gd/pi, which slot/panel, etc ?? will they be sending an e-mail on 23/24th confirming gd/pi shortlist ?? i called up at the insti many times but was unable to reach admissions dept.

Send across your application today. You can send the Reco separately. If you are shortlisted, the inst. will call and inform you.

Hi Vijai,

Myself Pooran from Gurgaon.
I sent my application on 11th of march (with two recommendation letters one persoanl and one professional). Due to delay from my HOD, couldn't sent the educational reco with the form.
I wrote for Delhi as GD/PI centre and conveyed would be bringing the edu reco on the 18th of march.

I was assured that i would recieve a call frm the institute if short listed.
I called up the admission cell today and was told the answers ranging from non reciept of application to application still under screening.
so disappointed ....neway i won't be able to go for GET/GD/PI tomorrow.

But i want your sincere help me in knowing the status of my application. If no. of students was too large to accomodate on 18th, i am ready to come down to Chennai on 25th of march, the final slot for GD/PI, provided they tell me the status of my application(rejected, accepted, not recieved......)

I do not think after mentioning three recos and almost two years of work ex. in Siemens with good acads and good Ex. act. my application should be rejected.
