U can do it Wither way. I think it is better if u hand it over personally to the office as it is quicker and safer. But the envelopes must be sealed with stamp or sign at both the ends

the problem is dat am from patna, n cant hand over the envelop directly.
plannin 2 send my application directly to the office, n requesting my recommenders to send d recos to GLIM directly. wot u say? dis shall work???
pls reply.

This is really bugging as we cant go either way. if selected their are still other headaches to face like loans and resignation.
Seniors it will be greatly helpful if u can shed some light on this

i gave the interview on 4th feb.i got a mail that i was in waiting list,and the decision would be taken on 26th feb. i called up Glakes today and they said they would again review my application on 31 march and we would be given decision only after that.

when i asked whether any candidates in the waitlist had been given offers ,she said(priya) that she could not disclose this.She also told that till now 81 people had been given offers.
that means there are now 50 seats left.

so even i they give 5 offers(i mean on spot ones) on each of the venues
then we people on wait list or on hold might not get the chance(personal opinion).

lets see but this wait is killing me as there has to be some time for resignation and all other stuff

It is well and good if the recommendors themselves send it. See to that it reaches in time

hi Vijay,
I had my interview on Dec 10. But till date I never received any emails stating my status, but however when I called them , they said I am on hold. Will I receive email today as per what you have told and will my application be sent to review meeting again on March end. Please get back to me. ( My application no is 1218 )

Hi, When I called up admissions, I was told that for some on hold, rejection letters have been sent and for most the status is the same and that admissions have not been given for anyone in waiting list/hold. This is what I heard from them.Going by what I have read so far, I think that those on waiting list and hold have a fairly decent chance. This is my logical explanation for the same. So far 80 seats have been filled. So since only 50 seats are remainin and a minimum of atleast 25 seats would be filled by this month end..its only a minimum...all the 50 seats can be filled for all we know... If a min of 25 are filled, they wouldnt have more than 25 persons on waiting list and hold coz they will be sure that atleast 25 will be filled...so i believe there arent more than 25 max in waiting list and hold...my explanation may seem silly but i think its plausible....
