So, guys I request you to throw some light on MINIMUM GMAT SCORE, I know this not the only criteria for selcecting a candidate but obviously a guy with 580 score cannot make to great lakes ....

So plese let me know the GMAT SCORE which I should get to make it to great lakes .... please reply at the earliest.

Thanks & Regards

Azeem
hi Azeem

For great lakes you need not submit any of ur cat,xat or gmat scores........if u think u had not done good in cat/xat then u can take the GET(great lakes entrance test) ie an exam specifically for great lakes.

it would primarily be based on quants and verbal (medium standard)...and if u had done ur preperation for cat then this exam will not be very difficult for u.

all the best

PRERIT and Ahmadazeem777,

XAT score as mentioned by PRERIT is not accepted.
Either of GMAT/CAT/GET being accepted.

Ahmadazeem: No body can tell you how much GMAT will suffice for your admission as it's just one of the criteria. Depending of the quality and quantity of work exp and other factors, the qualifying GMAT score accepted by the institute may vary. Best way is rather targetting how much GMAT score will be sufficient, go for scoring as much as you can. Work on all aspects of application like essays and others. If you get GD+interview call then work on leaving a good impression on interview panel through your knowledge, softskills, work experience articulation and all which can not be tested through means like written application. All the Best!!!

Yes i agree that either of GMAT/CAT/GET is accepted.I think u misunderstood me(When i said Ahmadazeem need not submit any of GMAT/CAT/XAT ,I was specifically addressing him, since he had not done good in his cat/xat)

anywayz.....

Ahmadazeem: i would suggest u to take GET instead of gmat (if u r targetting only 4 great lakes)

This is because i hav a personal experience of GET and i really found it easy , after having known all my cat funda's.

At the end the decision has to be yours..
.
And yes in Great lakes its not just about the test but u will hav to be gud with ur essays, reco's and gdpi as well.

All the best

All siad, the institute is also working towards getting the AICTE approval at the earliest.

Hi!!

Make sure that you enclose a slip stating that you wish to attend the interview this Saturday in Chennai.

The apps are screened as they come in and the students are intimated of their status.

Make sure you send it tomorrow so that it reaches the institute on Wednesday.
