Hi!!

While sending the app form, enclose a slip giving the choice of your ctr. You have the liberty to choose a date for your admissions process. If your Choice is Chennai, pick any Saturday starting from till March 25th. Other ctrs are Bangalore, Hyd, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata.

Interview date in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata - 11 Mar 2006
Interview date in Delhi, Mumbai - 18 Mar 2006

Mention your Ctr and Date in the slip and enclose with the app form.

Hi!

CAT score alone is not the criteria for getting a call. The full profile of the candidate is analysed before giving a call.

However I feel that 88 perverentile is a decent enough score to get a call.

In the other thread yu have mentioned your work exp as 9 Years and a CAT percentile.

hi all
this is my first mail to this group I need ur help urgently I am trying in GLAKES but have some problem my marks in school and college is somewhere 65 and 70%.I am not salaried person but stipend person (as a contractor in a private company). Totally I have 14+months of experience as contractor only .I have 6 months of gap during my work experience 5 months in one company then this 6 months of gap.Then I joined in another where presently I am working (as a contractor.).

Recommendation letters I can get only from college I cant get from my company as I am not suppose to do so.

My college not reputed will that be impact for my selection.As per the essays and the brochure given by the institue to be filled by the college authorites certain queries related to my work profile ,strengths and weakness etc .How they are going to rate me on this ??

I am totally confused on this dont know whom to approach , Can anyone help me . My score in cat and xat is not good so I am writing GET exam .So what are my chances making to GLAKES. Or Who can help me in this to fill the application form properly.Should I mention my work experience (contractor) work or not.Please I ask anyone to help me I am confused.

As long as you have a first class, it is fine. Though the panel may ask why the marks are less ...

I think working as a contract employee shuld not be a problem. As far as the gap in the work, you should be able to justify it.

Reputation of college dosent matter. As far as rating you, anything and everything that you put in your app form will be evaluated. We have an experienced panel which will evaluate your candidature.

You can take up the GET exam. Any queries regarding app form can be posted here. People here are more than willing to help others.
