Its a very decent offer considering the fact that one gets hold of 2 degrees within 2 years... The location of stuart school is also interesting and so are the job prospects if you land up in chicago. But trust me Great lakes will be enough atleast for the time being! And this contract with Stuart school is valid for a great laker atleast till the known future . You can exercise that option whenever you want in the future i mean
The alliance with yale and Nanyang... well this year we almost had a tie-up for an exchange program with Nanyang so you never know what great lakes has to offer coming year !!! And about Yale... the research tie-up i am sure helps us get yale profs to teach here at great lakes. A couple of them who have already taken classes are by far the best one could get anywhere under the sun(of the solar system).
I don't have any updates as far as the alliance with a chinese university is concerned.
As far as b-school ranking goes.... I have my doubts and the rankings are highly subjective.. ! Don't we see some colleges in top 10 that would make poor einstein turn in his grave ( would drucker's example be more relevant here)?

Hi Seniors,

Can u give us some updates on the placements whether they are fully completed or going on yet. I have heard that the I'st phase of placements was over by 19th of jan. Are company's coming for other phases also. Please let us know the status for the same. It would be good for us if you also let us know which all company's are coming or have come there.... for the placements.

Rest, I hope everybdy is eagerly waiting for a fundoo fresher party. So, be prepared...;o)

Hi Srs

I have a few queries; please update on the same -

1. Like in the first phase where the results were declared only after the GD/PI was completed at all the places, would teh second round of admissions go on the same lines or candidates will be given spot admit/admit letter in a day or two; because lots of people working in cos. would require around 2-3 notice period,!!!

2. Most students who are presently doing their graduation will finish the same around May. In such a case would their be some extra measures taken for the freshers who might have to miss a few classes(especially April)!

Thanks in Advance

Yes, the admissions will happen in the same way. However, some candidates may be informed earlier of their candidature ... Am not pretty sure how early this would be ...

We have taken that into consideration ... In our batch, a cple of freshers had to miss classes because of their exams. Compensation classes were scheduled for them.

Just adding to what vijay has said,
2nd round applicants interview performance processing time will be relatively lesser. so there will be possibilities of candidates getting to know of their results in a shorter span of time than the way it was during the first cycle. we are discussing the notice period issue and would urge all serious work ex aspirants who have notice period constraints to apply before march first week so that its easier for us to smoothen the process as well as help you.

hope this helps.

regards,
Prashanth
