3) How easy/difficult it is to change specialisation given it's a one year MBA course.
4) How is finance faculty there? i mean visiting faculty.
5) How much a person CTC can be in finance Cos, assuming he has changed specialisation from Ops(3 yrs. exp.) to Finance.
Pls donot generalise while answering the above Qs. i expect honest answers.

following are ur answers:
1. Many (i dont have exact nos) - however most shifts were made into IT.
2. Not much... but since u r getting into a non related work area, ur work ex might not be valued... exception are made on the basis of case to case. Differentiation in salaries wud always be there even in the same work ex region...
3. easy/difficulty depends on the job u get... we have ppl in our batch who have come from enfineering bg and cleared cfa... so it depends on the efforts u put into
4. very very good
5. this would vastly depend if u r going into banking, ibanking, pe, etc etc... ur sal wud depend on this and hence cant give u any specific answer...

Congratulations to all who are in...
Let me come to the point:
1. People who are confirmed need to reply to the confirmation email by 17th March, 2007 & pay up 50K rs by 22nd March(which in previous posts i mentionned as 28th March mistakingly).
2. The waitlisted candidates will be emailed as and when they will be confirmed(again contrary to my previous posts).
Please note that the waiting list is very short as we do not expect many rejections.
