Hey Puys

I am putting up my GD/PI experience here.

Mine was on 11th FEB at hyderabad. Must admit that this was one of the most unsatisfactory GD/PI i have ever encountered.

Reached the Center at 8am and the registrations started at 8.30. we were asked to give a write up on the topic "Impact of 15th august on indian youth"

Like tvn47 mentioned just put down ur thoughts in a logical manner. After that GDs started according to the groups assigned. Each group had around 12 candidates and there were 4 groups. So i guess there were a total of 40 odd partcipants.

The topic given to our group was "Decreasing the Defense expenditure and increasing the Social Expenditure is the need of the hour"

The moderator was a Prof of the institute. he specifically told us that he will be looking at the following factors

Content
Clarity of Thought
Way of presentation
Leadership Skills
Team play

2 mins were given to think about it. But anybody can start if he/she has consolidated his thots. I Listened to some points from the candidates and contributed a couple of good ones myself. There were pretty good ideas coming from different candidates but it never became a fish market though a lot of cutting in happened.

At last a concensus was reached on by all the participants.

All the participants were asked to summarize(randomly) in 1 and a half minutes for each.

Was not at all satisfied with my performance

nex came the PI round for which i waited for an hour. I asked the interviewers to prepone mine as i was not at all feeling well and wanted to get over with it, guess i was eliminated then and there

My PI was the last one before lunch break.

There was one lady and the GD moderator for the interview. It was mostly an HR interview with mostly questions regarding work experience

as i am from the IT background was asked what are the current trends in IT industry

little bit on family background and the kind of work i am handling.

to check creativity i was asked "what would be an unconventional use of the shell of a cocunut" for which i blabbed out something...

was asked bout my hobbies and some general stuff

In all not very satisfied as most of the expected qs were not even touched

Rest all is in GODs hands, Hoping for the best.

All the Best to all the Puys for the GD/PI

Vineet

Hi!

Good to c all in action
I am Rahul one of the latest addition in Team Bimtech
specially hats off to the seniors who are really active n philanthropic
enough to clear almost all the doubts.
Its a feel good factor to witness such a bonding and transparency
regarding the official website apart from the result day overload scalability issues, and constantly showing the root"sa" password "sunshine" of its admin server, I would say its quite lucid and easy to navigate, yes it would be a pleasure to extend our skills and make it the best one.
Have received the joining letter today, gt few queries

1)till what time are we allowed to use the library?
2)IN time of the GN hostel?
3)Internet speed(transfer rate) in the GN hostel n is there restriction on downloads?

warm regards
