hmm, so i now realize how grossly foolish it was on my part to fall for the compulsory attendance thing. like it or not, groggy eyed i attended most of the classes, only to sit in a direction strategically placed farthest from the prof (note the amazing use of b-school jargon!!) and doze off comfortably. there were many like me, and our beri own mrs. micro eco prof used to wake us up with ' do u mind not sleeping in the class'? its such an insult to us, and our ilk. y not do away with the requirement when u know ur fooling us all??:bad-word:

My final year exams are in June :((((

Its stated on NMIMS's website that the foundation course starts in mid-june and regular sessions begins in june-end.

Now can you pls confirm the following queries from Admission Office ??

1. Is the foundation course mendatory for everyone ?
2. Do they allow late joining in regular session for 4-5 days to those students whose final exams are not over ? and if NOT then what is the date before which I must complete all the requirements to get the Degree ???

Because after all it's not worth to apply if I am not eligible.

see, they say that the foundation course is mandatory, but its ok. its not that big a prob. just let them know bout ur exams. and usually there is a date b4 which u got to submit ur degree certificates. this is somewhere around august. so make sure u get it b4 that time. see u.

no i think u can still go ahead and apply cause this time atleast they took the grad cert. in sept. u still may call the office and confirm about the dates for the new batch. all the best.

for this yr, the ist yr fees is around 1.33 plus hostel .55 (of which .1 is refundable) second yr. its 1.25 and hostel no idea. not compulsory to stay in the hostel.

well, the 2nd trim has started, and im regretting not going home. we had practically nothing to do from the beginning of the month till today. and for the next 2 or 3 days, there are going to be no classes again. thats sickening. it ultimately means that we'r getting more hols this time than we'll get for diwali!! anyhow, life moves on. and what better than sleep when and not participate in any event. who wants them for gods sake?
