College on sundays....:neutral::neutral::neutral:...followed by a monday off
Had a 6 hr day, but din't attend...B school mein bhi proxy lagati hain yaar

HR presentation is lined up for 2mr:(:(, chutti kharaab ho gayi yaar...but the good thing is that the presentation is not the usual Power point stuff...we will be playing some intarctive games in class...so looking forward to a fun filled 2hrs...

As of now, have an extra HR lecture. Yeah, the ones where you play games. I am not in the lecture. And no, no proxies either. How does it matter?

basically how much money one needs to shell out in two years.....( including all the expenses) ....

PS= the reason for asking this is that I was told the expenses may go to the tune of 10 lakh .....is it Really ??

Well, our batch is gonna be paying the college 3.4 lakhs (1.75+1.65).
Hostel fees 1.6 lakhs (80,000x2).
So, that amounts to 5 lakhs for a period of two years.
If you need that bit of help splurging the remaining 5 lakhs, get back to me once you are here.

sorry but could not understand please elaborate what do you mean? the website says the Admission fee for the first year is 2,10,000 and for the second year around 2,00,000 ?

what does it mean ?
is the tuition fee, books, notebook, et cetera included in it ?

Yeah. That's for the 2008-2010 batch. Your total amounts to 4.10 lakhs honey (Inclusive of any kind of fees, yes). Add to that your cost of accomodation.

No. Fork out a few 20 bucks for a notebook. Yeah.
Books: There is a library. Using e-books is a viable option. But you might have to buy a couple.
And get your own laptop too. It's mandatory.
My suggestion: Please take the NMAT and then bother.

Would agree with COBAIN on that...take NMAT and then worry abt fees, and don't worry its no even close to 10Lacs if you are taking the merit seat, but a managaement seat will cost you around 10lac(or more)...last year, i.e m talking abt 07-09 batch, mgmt seat cost was 4.5X2=9lacs (excluding hostel):neutral:.

The fees, 210,000 is not very diffrent from what other B schools in the same league are charging, so don't worry...for the time neing concentrate on NMAt...do well...all the best.

There it goes...had a very nice HR presentation, which was totally unexpected...our group was one of the best coordinated and stuctured.
Another happy news which is making the top of roumers these days....we might have 2 weeks of break on chritsmas......though the news is not confirmed...it still makes me happy.
