Hey PPL,
I've finally decided to join. !!! INvestment Banking. ok Hi to all sceptics.....it's not like we are supporting big families...So even if we have to live on the margin for 2-3 yrs we dontmind since the long term effects are good. It'll only get better....hey we have to work like a donkety in any IIM/ISB to get ROI....just chk out this article on this site called "Paradise Lost"...e'll have to work the same here or there.......the remuneration will be almost same. and as I come to know , freshers' don't get chuked-of or anything. Wher's the guarantee that in any IIM/ISB you 'll get a good profile even after substantial wrk-ex... IT"S ALL RELATIVE!!!! if u analyse life we are anyways living on the edge each moment when we think "we'll do this morrow"......even IIMs has ppl it finds dificult to get placed..it's just tht this risk is not so commonly seen so we feel it's something new. but PPL isn't every day a gamble then?? wsn't our going to college and giving exams also a gamble?? There are no guarantees in life....ever. just make the best choice @ that point of time and move on. If u really have got the call for IB/WM ..u still have leverage.
I must say the seniors have been themost forthcoming and helpful.....THANX A LOT KANISHKA AND 666 and POOJA. ALL THE BEST FOR UR FUTURE GUYS.

A very well written post. Certainly gives a much needed reality check to the SPJCM aspirants and a preview of the Dubai markets! I myself have been tracking the Dubai markets off late and the ground reality is bang on! Makes up for a very good read!

Got the final call from SPJCM for IT Management. My profile is MCA + 2 years work ex as a software engineer.
