Well, I don't know for sure Kunal. I am pretty impressed by the curriculum and the opportunities it might have to offer, plus I am confident that brand shouldn't be a problem in the long run. However, I need to see whether at the end of a year or so I will have some surety of placements or not - otherwise a loan of 15L will be too much to handle. I don't think placements should be a problem, though.

And When i asked him what if i get a choice bw fore and spjcm he straight away choose fore on all fronts placement ,economical fee, reputation
Though LBS and SPJCM has tough competiton for choice
Course fee including all expenses comes to 15 Lacs....too much for SPJCM at least
And moreover the recognition of GMBA is a question mark in itself
So don't go by marketing tricks
He also confirmed due to backing out of 24 students after paying initial deposit batch was not completely filled and was of size 126 instaed of 150 and this year its expectee to be same story they themselves know 300 will not be in spjcm at any cost
Even the delay in putting up list is something due to this as they don't want any rejects and not even want others to know that the accept everybody...so decide wisely even if u paid initial deposit
Just think logically !!!

My God - nice things to hear about an institute you have just got an admit from. Me shudders!!!!!!!

By the way MBA2400, I strongly believe that MBA is all about value addition - and value addition in terms of improvement in skills, techniques and one's personality. If SPJCM can offer that, so far so good. And yes, the average of IIMs hovers near about Rs 7 lakh, and you lose the opportunity cost of working for an additional year.
This course GMBA is for one year, so for experienced people who would not gain much by summer training (if they are continuing in the same field), a one year option is not that bad. I have done extensive research on one year programs courtesy ISB and SPJCM, and have come to the conclusion that it's only the summer training part that's missing, otherwise things are pretty much similar. I have heard that the number of contact hours at SPJCM is equal to those of a two year program - only that things go at a faster than light pace.
Plus with this you have ample chance to get placed outside India - a chance which many students at India's premier institutes only dream of. (Only top 15% at India's top schools are actually able to fulfill this dream).
In the end, it's one's own call.
