hey thanks Nagila, its a pleasure to talk to you'll, abt you doing an MBA, yeah i agree its difficult to get a first class in arch. , but cardiff is quite insistent on it, but since you hav a considerable work Ex, i think u shud not apply directly but get an interview, so that u can convince the admin officer from cardiff of ur situation also it might be very usefull if u get a reco letter from ur princi saying things like that the highest was so and so, and 59 % is a very good marks(not exactly the same words but hope u get the drift)

so u do stand a chance as there might be a exception, but give it a good try, other good schools u cud look for is lancaster, strathcyde, etc (but i guess u hav to try and convince them to, but remember ur work ex is a big plus)

hope this helps,

Oh almost forgot a belated Happy birthday to you !!!

hi vinod!

ty for ur reply and ur wishes

iam currently in bangalore. can u please tell me the process of getting appointment with cardiff's admn officer.. and how should i prepare myself for this interview..is this the interview in which u were told not to worry about ielts?

cheers
nagila

ps: vinod if its possible u can write a comprehensive article about your experience in getting thro the entire process.. it would be of immense help for future aspirants. there is an article going about international MBA. urs could be more specific for freshers who want to get a UK MBA and its benefits..just a suggestion

hey - 17-07-2005, 12:39 AM

hey
'
yea
truly one of the bussiest posts on the site seemed a lil sluggish! i myself am writing after a long time.

so our warrior vinod is roaring ahead! great ! as far as im concerned, he will be my source for info as to how the MSc courses are and abt universities. right vinod?

with every one here getting letters etc, i am forced to think of my application too. i have just entered my 3rd yr of engg, but the whole IELTS,GMAT,GRE blah blah is in my head already! just hope i get a good result in my btech.

hey guys.... how gud is a 65 to 70 % in btech for admissions to the MSc management, finance, intl bus etc in the 5 or 5* RAE rated schools? just a thought coz i dont think i can push my score upto 75 or 80 in engineering. as yeawe dont have the GPA system in my college.

keep rocking

tell ur girlfriends to look good.(mine does and oh boy - she's beautiful)
guys, also tell me more abt aston and birmingham plz? (Birmingham being the 2nd largest city in the uk)

hello all..well i have been hearing a lot of things on further studies in the u.k but all that leaves me very confused..i would like you to help me by giving some gyaan

i am in final year engineering have about 53-54 % till now...but that will surely increase as its my final year now..i want to do a mba...what i need to know is considering my acads and my field which universities are good?and is it true that it is rather hard to get work permits in the u.k?furthermore how expensive are these courses?what exams do you take and so on...i know these are a hell lot of questions but i guessed there is nobody better than fellow pagals when it comes to spreading gyaan....
so please oblige!!

cheers!
