Hi kirti,

Congrats on your decision to go to liverpool,
On the estimates of the sals, see its again subjective to 2 things,
1) How well u do in your studies there.
2) How well ur able to market urself to the companies here of your worth.

Anyways as ur a fresher from what i hav seen in ur posts u can expect anything in the range of 25-40k per month if not less as a PG in india.

One more thing if u get a job there (u.k) , i strongly suggest u take it up bcas then when u come back u will make much more and by then u wud hav made up the money spent on your education.

I think sometime in june-july all UK admits from PG.com shud meet what say guys, we can keep each other posted and form a strong network as well.

cheers,

vinod.

Hi,

In this regards wanted to first tell u something abt myself and then need some suggestio.

I am a B.Sc Com Sc. graduate (2003 batch) with 58% agg. I have a total work ex. of 2yr 4 months. Which majorly consists of BPO Tech Support Exp. Off late (past 5 months) I am working in a MNC s/w firm, in Information Systems.

Want to knw --
1. What are the realistic chances of getting admission to a good b-school in UK?
2. What are the entry requirements (GMAT, IELTs... etc)
3. What is the approx fees and total cost of living?
4. Chances of getting a scholarship or alt. source of funding?
5. what is the placement scene in UK and the approx start salary?

Sorry for bombarding u with so many questions, but hope u understand my situation...

Regards.

I heard that Cardiff is a third grade university, which just takes money and the MBA there is not worth it....

Hi guys... Was confused with few universities in UK for MBA...

I got an unconditional offer for MBA in Cardiff Univ. and also conditional for Coventry and Greenwich and waiting for Liverpool John Moores and Glasgow.. so which one according to u is the best. And if you can, kindly rate the univ. as 1,2, 3, 4 and 5 and also mention any experience you have with the univ. or any of your friends experience....

Hope to get your replies soon.

take care.
