Hello.
Just an update. I had sent a mail to NUS enquiring about the status of my application. As mentioned earlier by one of the aspirants on this thread, they have informed that they have received a lot of applications this year. However, they have also mentioned that shortlisted candidates will be interviewed starting early February. This implies that aspirants can expect replies in the next two weeks. Let's hope for the best.

Hi,
I just joined this forum- had sent out my application on the 31st of Dec- my referee reports havent been updated though- 1 of my referees had to suddenly travel out of the country- and so will be sending out the report only this weekend- how much will this work against me? Also, the transcript copies that I have sent are not attested- I assumed, you need to send out the official transcripts only once ur admitted (how idiotic have i beeen!!??)

Regarding refree reports: Your application will not be considered complete without the referee reports. So the application will not be reviewed till your referee reports have been submitted.
Regarding transcripts: Transcripts sent with the application do not have to be notarized. However, you will need to send notarized ones when you are offered an admit.
All the best.
Thanks,
Abhishek. --- Abhishek.

hi,
My profile:
GMAT - 730. Quants - 48, verbal - 41, AWA - 4.
Work Ex - 36 months by Aug 2008.
Engg - 76%
12th - 92% (CBSE)
10th - 82% (CBSE)
Extra - Curriculars - Active through out school, college, and work life.
I m currently in the process of applying to NUS and had a few doubts regarding the application process.
1. Is it required to prepare a separate resume to be sent to the university or are the details provided in the online application sufficient?
2. Do we have both upload the scanned copies of the marksheet and send it by post or is just one of the options sufficient?
3. I maybe a bit late in the application process. Would this affect my chances for an admit?
Can someone please throw some light on this? i would really appreciate this help.
Thanks in advance,
Avinash | | | | | | | |

Hi,
I dont understand one thing....
I submitted my application on 30 october...and already its 20th January....
When will NUS even call me..... I thought this was a rolling admissions thing...and that i wud get the chance for interview before people who submitted after me....
I hav't got any notification from NUS..?
What is really going on...?
When are they planning to call me or reject me....this is like an endless wait....
And now I hear of people who submitted their application after me having been interviewed recently...
What is this going on.....
Can someone shed some light There are 10 kinds of people in this world- those who can understand binary and those who can't. Converts: SCMHRD, Great Lakes, IMI(PGDM), NUS, IMT-G [PGDM FT], IITB SJMSOM, IITKGP VGSOM, SPJain PGDM [Finance], KJ Somaiya, MDI PGPM, IIMC[PGDCM], IIMK, IIML, IIMI Waitlists: XIMB[10], IIMA[60] Rejects: IIMB
