Sultan,

Relax, man! The i/v questions were as I had mentioned earlier...Why MBA and why in Singapore? What are your post-MBA plans? Do you want to work in Singapore or India?...beyond this the qns become specific to ur answers or to anything specific u've mentioned on ur application...in my case...it was a bit abt my past work-ex. Absolutely nothing reg. my essays. Run through ur application once...and that should more than suffice! And make sure u've a back-up phone no....my landline conked right at the beginning.

My profile.. GMAT - 730 / B.tech - NIT/ 2.5 yrs in FMCG.

Cheers and All the Best,

Hi All,

I gave my NUS i/v today at 6:30am.
It was a great experience and it was more of a discussion rather than an i/v.
The panel consists of 2 members and they were very amiable. My i/v went for almost 35 minutes.

The questions were general: mba (why mba? why NUS? why Singapore?), professional (discuss your job profile/ what do u do?), compare IIMs with NUS, post NUS, where do you c urslf after XXX no of years, any ques from us?

I don't know how I did, but was satisfied after the i/v. Felt relaxed !! Felt that I answered them in a good way !!
Went outside for a hot cup of tea in this chilly winter morning and now m in office.....
Fingers crossed !!
Hopes alive !!

Best of luck to others !!

Thanks and Regards,

WAKAU !!

Hi Guyz,

I also had my i/v on 3rd Jan. All general stuff - why mba, why singapore, how i wud contribute, am i open to wrk anywhere, dream companies etc. It lasted for a v short 13 mins. Is the duration an indication of anything?? Hey where else r u guyz applying??

My profile - GMAT 730, 2.5 yrs wrk ex in IT.

Can anyone also suggest which other schools to apply to if the aim is to come bac and settle down in India???

Cheers,
Pankaj.

Hi Guys,

Was anyone asked about the scholarship stuff ?
I mean any question like "how do you c scholarship as, how imp it is for your studies" or "what will you do if we (NUS) do not give you any scholarship" or "how will you fund your studies if you do not qualify for the scholarship?".

I was asked about shcolarship at the end of my i/v.
Nyways good luck to all.

NUS expects min of 2 yrs full-time work ex. I belive it wud b very difficult to get into a b-school abroad without work ex.

If u wanna go for higher studies, wat I wud suggest is either you can go for MS now or apply for MBA with a consierable work ex.

YUP. THAT is the number (Interview scheduling not the actual interview)
Call/Mail them asap. They will send you a mail anyways.
And all the best.

Hey thanks swapnil for confirming this fact.
i have been trying to call that number back and also tried the NUS b-school number from the website. i have nt been able to get thru any of the numbers.
I wrote in a mail and left a message on the voice mail sysytem.
is there anything else i can do to contact them ASAP. having missed the call i am worried whether they will bother to call again or not.
