hey Poornima,
Congrats on ur getting through to NUS.
Infact tht univ's on my hit list as well.
I want to apply to NUS but could u help me out in aspects pertaining to 'how many yrs of work ex' , GMAT scores,etc.
I"ve taken my GMAT n got a score of 640. PLus i'm currently working in Delhi with 7 months work ex under my belt.
Please advise and we should catch up since ur in del as of now.

As mentioned to others.. i'm a a future prospect for NUS.
Whats your back ground in terms of work ex , education, and gmat score.. so that i have a fair idea regarding my chances..
I've got 7 months work ex till date and a gmat score of 640.
Plus i'm a mech engn.. is tht good enough ?

Hi Friends,

this is for those who got admission letter from NUS ( Sultan , Lavender, Pranky, Poornima and all)....Have u guys already sent the Acceptance Fee of S$1500 to NUS.

I had rang up Hazel Ho and she told me to send demand drafts. But there was a point written in the response form sent from NUS ( Point #3)...that your personal details ( name, passport #, address etc ) are to be writen on the reverse side of the cheque..But as u know, u cannot write anything on a demant draft. So how to convey these info to NUS?

I am planning to write these info on a separate sheet and send it along the Response Form and Acceptance demand draft. What do u think guys? I get to know this very urgently...so plzzzz help guys.

Hi there,

CONGRATS! to all those who made it to NUS! Just curious about one thing.I've been hearing a lot of different opinions on the two BIG B-schools in Singapore,namely,NUS and Nanyang.Can anyone please let me know where we can see a kind of comparative report about the placements,infrastructure etc and which one scores higher than the other?Anyone studying at these two places,or if anyone has info would be grateful to know more.

Also planning to apply to NUS and Nanyang as well.
Here's my profile:

I've gotten 3.2 years of work-ex at an MNC(Accounting and Fin related stuff),have enrolled for the CFA,and decent acads,with a fair amount of extra curricular activities to boot.

Those who've gotten though,kindly help.Do you think,this would be good enough?

Coolmayukh,

I think you got some wrong info. You can write the details at the back of te draft/ cheque.
Its nothing related to the bank transaction. The only thing that should be correct on the draft are the Name(National University of Singapore), amount(S$1500) and signatures of the issuing authority.

There is no such criteria to which you are referring to.
You can proceed on and write the details.
