acc to me, ISB is trying to get the best of indian students since it knws that once the student has an admit it wont go shopping wid other offers coz the student has to pay up in 15 days... ISB's intake shld be classified as spring intake as compared to fall intake in rest of the world.... so the cycles are different... nonetheless comparisons are bound to happen and the argument can go on forever...
@megha
not sure what april2007 meant... but yes, the current batch of students will be close to 150 students... and adcom will not be stupid enough not to extend offers to the waitlisted candidates if it falls very short of class size...

hope i m not being too preachy here... and in no ways supporting my potential almameter ...
i m trying to be rational and do point out if show undue affection for NUS |
I buy your assertions as well of megha and others. Patience is a key element to pursue any B-school application process starting right from your analysis of the school to writing the essays again n again to preparing relentlessly for the interview. Every person present on this forum has gone through those stages and can be considered among top 1% patient people on this planet.
At the same time, I am of the opinion that things do not get better by running them under carpet. Any negative comment about the school or the admission process can be taken in two ways : Plain negative comments or constructive criticism intended to help improve.
Jaimin, if you intend to participate in the school admission process and help it make better, I think it would worthwhile for you to take a note of people who have feedback to give, validate their claims , and then decide upon course of action you may introduce. How much does it help if everyone says "We will be patient" ?
And when I said NUS is bit late, I meant to compare NUS with other schools to which candidates will apply while applying to NUS. SO if some applied to NUS in Dec or Jan and applied to other schools at the same time, it's more likely they have the decision from other schools now. Ofcourse, many schools have rounds left but our focus here is the people who are still waiting for NUS decision and applied in Dec or Jan.
@All,
I don't intend to sound idealistic here and nor do I intend to start a debate. I simply believe that diversity in each one of us, who are facing different circumstances, when brought together would form a better collective viewpoint rather than running things under the carpet.
