saw from the ISB site that about 100 get some form of scholarship along with the admissions offer.

Hi All

This is the first time i m posting on this forum , but have been visiting the site regularly......Its very heartening to know that all like minded pple with one single aim MBA have found of this excellent way to communicate..........
ok now if u r not bored enough, here is a brief snapshot abt me

Took my cat ...managed to get 96.8%........no IIM calls ...........nywayz..no use crying over spilt milk....m now planning to take my GMAT and apply for international MBA

My main concern is my work ex..have just one yr of work ex.....am an ANALYST in a leading consulting MNC..............do i have any chances of getting admissions abroad.....if not what shld be my plan of action now....?

Err.. um.. they're a bit too personal, so wouldn't be too comfortable sharing them (I took the oft-quoted advice to "let the real you show in your essays", and the essays became very candid).

But I'd be happy to help you with your apping and essays. Just PM me whenever you need help.

There's a few online resources that were a great help when I was writing my essays:
accepted.com
essayedge.com

Since you're only apping next year, you have a long time. So for starters, you could look at this year's essay questions, and do some introspection, and you will produce very genuine, stellar essays (the small flip side being that they will say so much abt you that you wouldn't be able share them with others )
