But i'm very unsure about the prospects post-degree (in terms of jobs and work visa) Well after reading this thread posts, it gave me a sigh of confidence in applying them. Is it too late to apply by this time? Unsure of which universities to apply, so that i might not end spending some lacs for worthless degree...What scores are required, IELTS, TOEFL..? And how much really does it makes a difference with an MBA degree?

What are my chances of getting admits?

Hi Roadtrip,
my personal take is that if u gonna invest that much money into ur education, it should be from a top univ that provides u a brand name, atleast. after going to british council and seeing the requirements of top univs, i got to know that "managerial" work ex of 2-3 years is required in most of the biggies (mine is technical work ex).... so, i left my plans there and then and started prep for CAT... i 'll say find a job and start preparing for cat. after a year or two decide what u want. if u want to go for uk's msc then march ahead (work ex will make admission/placments easier) else cat is always there to fall upon.
Regards
Aseem
