Nalini, Was looking closely at ur post for the nth time & just wondering aloud - I presume ur Math skills shld be great.. any financial backgrnd??!! And verbal - Wow, U must be a good reader??!! After abt 5 years, I find it tough to get back to books but seeing you...sheeeesh...I am ashamed at myself

Congratulations on that score. That would help big time. There is a paper i would like to share with you. its titled "Managing your Doctoral Program". Let me know if you need it. Oh yes, i am a PhD student too.

Application deadlines are near. Last year, UCLA's was Jan 7th. Please apply as early as you can.

And make sure you complete your PhD asap (say 3-4 yrs) and join as a prof in Sloan or Columbia or even GBS. And when I plan to app there, make sure you send in your recos. Hehehe. As a mod of pg.com, guess I can expect atleast this much from all ya dea members.
