Moreover there's a separate thread open for this years GMP XLRI application process, I am sure puys(mods) will help out with all kinds of queries.
Hey it's 8th January 2010 not 8th Dec

do u think the f2f thing makes more diff?i registered for the app only yesterday and i dont think its possible to complete the essays in 4 days:(
I generally prefer a face to face as i think i am able to present my profile better.. but its all upto ur comfort level.

If NTU is a serious option then i would recommend that u try to complete the essays in time..

All the best

Puys,

Just to consolidate can we list the various options that we have discussed here (restricted to Asian region)

1. GMP from XLRI
2. NTU
3. NUS
4. INSEAD
5. IIM L

Is there any other valid choice in the league?

NTU is a serious option..but i doubt if i'd be able to do justice to my essays in such a short duration..

i don't think there is any point hurrying up the essays. u can apply after 30th also. and there is no reason to believe that people who apply after 30th are not serious abt NTU

I doubt they will consider only bachelors degree. It needs an advanced degree. I was told this at an MBA fair by the cornell adcom. Perhaps you can write to them to confirm it.

Let me relate what one my friends, who applied last year and was rejected said "They said I don't have enough social service in my feedback. That was the only thing I could improve upon. This year they told me in the interview that I have only 6 months of social involvement and doubted my intentions".
This is such a cynical entry by the admissions director. Are they looking for Mother Teresa among the applicants?
