Still to give you an idea some job profiles on offer are business analyst, marketing research analyst, business development, marketing operations, operations manager, finance manager. Mind you these are very generic job profiles and each will require some looking into depending upon the company and the industry the job belongs to.

Hey thanks. It helps a lot

Hi Passppal,

Quite a few of the seniors from India have landed a job in Singapore. There are some that have headed back to India while a handful are still trying for a job in Singapore.

The job market is definitely looking better than it was six months back.

The strength of Indians in the current batch is about 20% considering a batch of full-time and part-time students.

Cheers

Hi frmmarinertomba,

I would suggest you have a look at the Nanyang Website and the curriculum for an insight into what Nanyang has to offer. What are you expecting from Nanyang with respect to your future plans ?

Cheers

Hi guys I'm also applying to the Nanyang MBA 2010.
I had a query regarding one of the essay topics.

  • What is the one thing in your professional life so far, that matters most to you? Explain why. (maximum 500 words)

I would like to know what have you guys inferred from this.
I'm of two thought streams....

one, I feel we r asked of one particular incident during our professional life which matters the most to us.

and the other, I feel we are asked of a quality (or trait) in our professional life so far (like responsibility, facing challenges etc...) that matters the most to us.

I would appreciate it if you guys cud share ur views on this.

Thanks.

Hi chirag,

I have been working in the semiconductor industry for 3.5yrs and am looking at an Mba to switch to finance / consulting.
NTU is popular for finance but I would like to understand how this is seen by admissions.
I do know that finally landing a job of choice depends on you as much as anything else, but has NTU been known to see career switches.

Thanks

Hi Chirag,

I have a question regarding brand value of Nanyang in India. I would like to come back to India after completing my MBA course. Could you please share any information regarding how are the placements of Nanyang pass-outs in India ?
