Hi,

The mail says following lines
"As part of your application profile to the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh, you have been selected to participate in our evaluative interview process for MBA admissions.............."

Hope this helps...

@akshay0508: You have any idea how to prepare for such interviews, or what care should be taken while giving such interviews? Kindly share the same......

Cheers,
Akshay

I got a call from Katz. They were super quick.Responded in exactly 2 days and invited me for the evaluative interview.I have booked it for 22nd Oct.Wanted to finish it off early.
Anyone has any clue how the interview goes. What type of questions they ask?

Some basic things one needs to take care of for telephonic interview:
1. make sure you will not be disturbed for the duration of the int. let there not be people walking in and out of your room.
2. try to stay in an area with proper signal coverage.
3. make sure ur cell is charged or ensure there is a charging point around (if taking the call thru cell)
4. u can write down some key points you want to make and stick it around ur seating space using post-its. this helps u to focus on answering the questions whilst scanning thru the points visually, without breaking continuity.
5. use a hands-free or headset

Re: Pittsburgh (Katz) 2010 - 21-10-2009, 12:18 PM

Few questions I had faced at Marylan Interview
1) Why MBA and why now?
2) Post mba career
3) Back up plan if i didnt get into my desired field.
4) Why am I working in XYZ, why I chose it and not any other firm?
5) Which are the other schools I am applying?
6) Reason behind my decision to work in US and not any other country?
7) Other activities outside work.

Hope that helps,

Cheers,
Akshay
