Dear Dr Menon !!
Iam a ECE engineer into the industry for an year almost by now. Iam currently working with Avaya Global Connect as a senior Project engineer into enterprise telephony and call center telephony setups. I wish to pursue the PGPX program at ISB for which i clearly know i need loads of experience and iam ready to put down another 3-5 years into the same. But alongwith that i feel i should take up something which enhances my skill set not only in technical domain bit managerial domain too for which i need your guidance as to what should i take up in this span of next 3-4 years. Maybe correspondence courses or workshops or seminars that keep on taking place in prestigious colleges in india. I want o keep myself busy alongwith my job so as to remain focused on my stuides part which i feel is integral for the overall growth of an individual. Would like you to throw light on possibilities for me in this regard so that my resume looks exciting alongwith my experience creating better opprtunites for me.
Thanks And regards

For the 2011 admission process, the essay question no 2 asks for a major achievement till date. What exactly are you you looking for?Should it be related to professional life or can it include something at personal level as well?

Mr. Menon,
If you had two sentences to describe ISB, what would those be?

Dear Mr. Menon
It seems like my Manager in previous company does not want himself to be bothered and is not patient enough to be involved in this critical aspect of my application. But my Team Leader is patient enough to be a refree.
My question is how important it is the designation of the refree??
Can it hamper my chances of selection??

Hello Mr Menon,
I am getting a reco from my client with whom I worked from 2007 June till 2008 December. And also from my current manager.
The question is I havent worked with this client since Dec 2008, will the value still hold good even after 7 months,, considering I worked with cleint for over a year at the client location ?
How do I know if the official gmat scores reached ISB, I mean I did recieve a mail from the Pearsons vue that official gmat scores reached ISB, is that enough?

Workshops and seminars are good options.
You should be looking at social ventures too.
Please do mail pgpadmissions@isb.edu for a more personal response.

Dear Dr. Menon,
Greetings!
Your replies on the forum are helpful indeed.
I would like to know about the best possibilities that ISB offers and students generally opt for, to arrange for the course fees. I have also read about some kind of scholarship given to people hailing from smaller towns. I do belong to a very small town.
I would be taking a loan from the bank, for the complete fees, if at all I am able to secure an admission. Is it advisable ? Or rather, could you please suggest the options.
Best,
Ragarwal79
